Almond Joy

This little cutie is Almond Joy. When we took supplies to the Monroe County Animal Shelter, one of our fosters saw her sitting all alone in a wire crate and just could not leave her behind. She is three months old and only weighs 9 pounds. She is the sweetest girl! She loves to give kisses. If you do not like being licked a lot, she is not the girl for you. She does great with other dogs and is very active and playful. She will need a home where she can expend all of that puppy energy. A home with another dog or an older kid would be ideal. Small kids are not recommended because she likes to chew before and after each round of kisses.

She is learning that it is not appropriate to chew on fingers and arms, but she still has way to go. She is not house trained, but is smart and should learn quickly. She does great in the kennel during the day and likes to snuggle in the bed with her foster mom at night. Our adoption fee is $175 and includes age appropriate vaccines, vet check, deworming, spay and a microchip.
