Adopted!

Brim found her forever home through PA Caring for K-9's. Below are more dogs near New Oxford still waiting for theirs.

Brim

Young (1 year 9 months) · Female · American Staffordshire Terrier / Mixed

⚡ Looking for a dog who can keep up with your active lifestyle? Meet Brim! ⚡

Brim is a 1½-year-old, 35-pound mixed breed with a zest for life and enough enthusiasm to make every day an adventure. She’s happiest when she has something to do—whether that’s a long walk, hiking a trail, playing fetch, exploring a new park, or zooming around the yard with a canine friend.

This isn’t a dog who wants to spend all day on the couch. Brim is looking for a family that will give her the exercise, structure, and enrichment she craves. In return, you’ll get a loyal sidekick who’s always ready for whatever comes next.

Brim is:

House trained

Crate trained

Dog friendly

Kid friendly

Spayed

Up to date on vaccines

Heartworm negative

After she’s had a chance to burn off her energy, Brim is more than happy to settle in and relax with her people. She just needs a family that understands a young dog thrives with both physical exercise and mental stimulation.

If you’ve been looking for a fun, active companion to share your adventures, Brim may be the perfect match.

We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting, please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $350 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $400 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate. Learn more about adopting from us or volunteering for us at www.pack9rescue.org or check us out on Facebook for more information and a complete list of dogs available for adoption. https://www.facebook.com/PaCaringForK9s/

Hi, I’m Granola (AKA Poppy) and I’d like to tell you all about me!

I am a 6 month-old, 30 pound female pup looking for my forever family. I have a big spunky, sassy personality but I also have a lot of love to give. I am still learning puppy manners, but I’m smart and willing to please so I am making progress! Could I be that pup you’re looking for?

Here’s more good things about Granola:

* Affectionate & Entertaining: She is highly entertaining to watch and will shower you with plenty of puppy kisses (sometimes nibbles)

* Dog-Friendly: Submissive with other dogs! She thrives on companionship and loves romping in the backyard with her foster fur-brothers. However, she has some prey drive which means she would not

  • Good with kids
  • Good with dogs
  • House-trained
