Buck

Well hello there, my name is Buck it’s so nice to meet you! I am a handsome young man that is ready to take on my forever home! I am only about 1 ½ years old, I still have that fun puppy energy! My shelter friends say I am a very good boy I just have a LOT of energy to burn off! I am very very smart and very food motivated-I will do anything for a good snack;). I have had some doggy friends and I like being with them and playing! My shelter friends think I might be mixed with some cattle dog because I really enjoy heeling other dogs and people… I know that is not the best trait but it’s in my DNA, I can’t help it.

I am most likely a Hound/Cattle Dog mix and the genetics definitely play a part in my behavior. My nose goes a million miles an hour all of the time and I love trying to keep people and animals in check. That being said, my ideal home does not include kitties or young kiddos.
