Give a warm welcome to Bugs, a Texas stray who has never met a stranger because he makes quick friends with everyone who has the good fortune to make his acquaintance.Bugs is a 1-year-old Black Labrador/mixed breed boy who weighs 63 pounds, making him a medium sized dog (31-60 pounds). He has the most adorable perky ears that seem to be standing at attention listening for friends to show up for fun and frolic. Friendly does not begin to capture just how outgoing and eager Bugs is to make the most of time with other dogs and children. Bugs does require a cat-free home.Bugs is learning that being a good boy at home means learning his manners and he is hard at work at his house training and leash rules.

Rescue dogs may have accidents as they transition to a new home, so patience is also important. If crate training is planned, Bugs requires a crate that is big enough for him to turn around, stand in and lie down. Crates need to be warm welcoming places and must never be used for punishment.
