Dog friendly (he does best with medium/large dogs—his play style is a little too enthusiastic for small pups!)

A home without children, as they make him a bit nervous

A large fenced yard or acreage where he can stretch his legs

A hiking partner, explorer, and best friend who understands the breed and will give him the time he needs to settle in and thrive
