Meet Digger, an adorable Pit Bull Terrier mix with a big heart, a playful personality, and a serious appreciation for snuggles. Born around April 28, 2026 and now weighing about 25–30 pounds, Digger has grown into a sweet, fun-loving pup who is ready to find a family of his own.

Digger has come a long way since arriving at his foster home. He loves meeting new people and is always happy to make a new friend. There is just one little catch: if he thinks you are planning to pick him up, he may back away. Digger still isn't a fan of being picked up or carried, but give him the choice to come snuggle beside you and he's all in. He is a wonderful snuggler on his terms and loves curling up next to his people on the couch.

Digger is also a big fan of having canine friends around. He loves playing with other dogs, following the lead of the bigger dogs in his foster home, and getting the zoomies out in the yard. He enjoys toys, chasing a ball, and exploring on walks, where he is doing a great job walking nicely on leash without pulling or turning the walk into a full-blown adventure.

His puppy manners have come a long way, too. Digger is officially house trained and crate trained, and he settles nicely in his crate at night. He will, however, make sure you know when he has decided he has spent quite enough time in there. He has also been trying out sleeping at the foot of his foster family's bed and has done wonderfully.

Digger is gentle with the children in his foster home and has outgrown his mouthy puppy phase. He is a sweet, affectionate boy who enjoys being part of the household and is happiest when he can be near his people or playing with his dog friends.

If you're looking for a playful, affectionate pup who has already mastered many of the basics and is ready to keep growing alongside his family, Digger might just be your guy. He's got the kisses, the zoomies, the snuggles, and the personality to make his future family very happy. His minimum adoption fee is $325 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
