Hi! I’m Dottie — a 5‑year‑old, 17‑pound Boston Terrier girl with a big personality packed into a tiny body. I’m sweet, playful, curious, and honestly… everything feels new and exciting to me right now. New toys? Amazing. New rooms in the house? Incredible. New experiences? I’m ready to dive right in. I’m a brave little explorer who loves being in the middle of whatever’s happening. If something is going on, I’m there — watching, sniffing, investigating, or trying to join in. I’ve started playing with the foster doggies, and I like to paw at them and wrestle like the silly little gremlin I am. One of my favorite hobbies is collecting toys. I gather them up and store them in my crate like a tiny dragon guarding her treasure. You can usually find me hanging out in there with a whole pile, feeling very proud of myself. I love being held and getting pets, but I’m also independent and a little stubborn — a classic Boston girl. I’m still learning the ropes, but I’m crate trained and leash trained, and I’m doing great. I’m good with other dogs and would be wonderful for a senior who wants a sweet companion with a fun streak. Because so many things are new to me, I don’t always understand what is and isn’t a toy yet — but I’m trying! I love going on walks, and car rides are my absolute favorite thing. Windows down, ears flapping… perfection. I would love a patient, loving family who can spoil me, help me keep learning, and enjoy all the silly, sweet moments I bring to a home. My adoption fee is $350.
