Falcao

This dog is available to meet by appointment only.

If there’s a toy nearby, Falcao has probably already claimed it. This handsome 1-year-old, 63-pound pittie mix is a professional toy enthusiast who’s always ready for a game of fetch, a playful adventure, or some serious snuggle time.

Falcao is an athletic, energetic wild child who can get pretty excited, but he’s also incredibly attentive to his people and eager to learn. He knows “sit,” loves treats, and responds well to a patient, reward-based approach. He’ll thrive with an experienced adopter who can help him polish his leash skills and basic manners while giving him plenty of exercise and playtime.

Falcao is social and playful with other dogs and would love a well-matched canine sibling or regular doggy playdates. After playgroups at the shelter, he showed just how nicely he can settle on leash!

Found as a stray in early September, Falcao isn’t loving kennel life and is ready to trade his kennel for a home, some toys, and a person of his own. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, athletic, affectionate adventure buddy with plenty of personality, Falcao may be your guy! Please submit an adoption questionnaire to meet him.
