Gene

Meet Gene! Gene is a handsome 5 year old Plott Hound mix who was found in Rockwall County on October 5, 2026, and was unfortunately never reclaimed by his owner. This sweet, calm gentleman is ready for a fresh start! Gene is crate trained, walks nicely on a leash, and has a gentle personality. He arrived with a skin and ear infection, possibly related to untreated flea dermatitis, and is currently receiving treatment. Any remaining medications will go home with his adopter. If you have another dog, a meet and greet is recommended to ensure compatibility. Gene's adoption fee is $125. He is neutered, microchipped, current on his annual boosters, and heartworm negative.
