Hello, lovely humans! My name is Happy, and here is a little information about me!Breed: Siberian HuskyAge: 6 years old Gender: FemaleWeight: 22 kgCountry of origin: LebanonHighlights: Affectionate, playful, independent, clever, and absolutely lovable! My name is Happy, and I think it suits me perfectly! With my beautiful blue eyes, adorable smile, and playful personality, I'm ready to bring lots of happiness, love, and a little Husky mischief into someone's life!Like so many of my rescue friends, my story didn't start with a happy ending.Once upon a time, I had a family. I thought they were my forever humans, but one day, they left me behind on the streets of Lebanon.I remember wandering along the road, looking everywhere for the people I loved.
I kept searching, hoping they would come back for me. But they never did.Nobody really knows why I was abandoned. Maybe it was because I shed too much fur, or perhaps I hadn't quite mastered my potty manners. Whatever the reason, I couldn't understand why my humans didn't want me anymore.Thankfully, some kind people rescued me and gave me a safe place to stay. Now I live in a shelter, surrounded by people who care about me.But you know what? I haven't let my past take away my happiness! I'm still the same sweet, affectionate, playful girl who loves people and enjoys life.Being a Husky, I also have an independent side. I enjoy exploring, discovering new things, and keeping myself entertained. I'm a clever girl who would love a family willing to engage my curious mind and continue teaching me new things. My dream home would be with a loving, patient family who understands that Huskies are intelligent, active dogs with their own personalities.Energy Level: Moderate I get along with:Dogs: Yes! I have been spayed, vaccinated, and microchiped. My adoption fee is $750.00 CAD plus applicable taxes. This includes my transportation to Canada, if I am able to be accompanied by a flight volunteer directly to Vancouver.Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue. Please Note: LALDR highly encourages adopters to research some local dog trainers before their dog arrives. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems.Basic training should be taken seriously, but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home, check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you.Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if a dog has been determined to be good with children we will approve applicants with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website. The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs.Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters.
