Jeff

Jeff is scheduled to be transported to New Jersey on Nov. 12, 2026 and be available for adoption at the Tractor Supply in Ringoes over the Nov 1-15 weekend. An applications for Jeff's adoption can be submitted at socorescue.com (no need to "Register" or "Login"). Questions about Jeff and/or our adoption policy should be sent to socorescue8@gmail.com; please no phone calls.

Jeff was part of a litter of Bulldog pups that came to SoCo Rescue in July of 2023. Two of his brothers, Solomon and Simon, were adopted to families in New Jersey in early 2025. Due to a reduced number of larger dogs being adopted over the past few years and having to overcome the bulldog stigma, Jeff has had to wait patiently for the opportunity to find his new home. While they have not yet met, we believe that Jeff's adopter is currently looking for a dog just like him and that this is Jeff's time to finally find his new home.

Jeff is very people friendly and has even done very well when interacting with other dogs in a controlled environment. He loves going on walks and long hikes and having the opportunity to run and play in a large outdoor fenced area. While he's not yet had any experience living as an indoor dog, we believe he'll adjust to life as a couch potato with proper training as he is a quick learner.

Jeff has been kept up to date on his annual vaccinations, de-wormings and monthly preventatives since coming into our rescue. He was recently neutered and given both a heartworm and fecal exam, both of which gained negative test results. He's never displayed any aggressive behavior towards people or other dogs, but we'd recommend a "meet-an- greet" with any other dogs that he may share a new home with prior to an adoption. Jeff has also already been microchipped.
