Special Needs: Jinxy came to the rescue with fungal dermatitis and has since been on antibiotics and keto for treatment. He is receiving two medicated baths weekly and is healing wonderfully! His hair and skin should make a full recovery. Additionally, he has a Grade III/IV heart murmur and moderate cataract changes bilaterally. He is also on Dasuquin for his joint health which is typical for his age.

Our best guess is that Jinxy is a Shih Tzu/Poodle mixed breed. Shih Tzu-Poodle mixes, often called "Shipoos," are known for being affectionate, intelligent, and people-oriented companions. Besides being your shadow, Jinxy's favorite activity is going for walks. He's great on a leash and would love a forever family that enjoys taking a few leisurely strolls each day. He doesn't need a fenced yard or an active lifestyle full of adventures and excitement. A couple of daily walks, some quality time with his people, and a comfortable couch to relax on afterward are all he really needs to be happy! While he gets along fine with other dogs, he doesn't pay much attention to them and would be perfectly content as an only pet soaking up all the attention for himself.
