Meet
Klara
, a 4-year-old Belgian Malinois girl who is every bit as gorgeous as she is lovable! This sleek, regal beauty has a blonde-brown coat dusted in soot and a striking all-black face that gives her a truly unforgettable look. Sweet, smart, and always ready to work or play hard, Klara is eager to please and has never met a person or pup she didn't like! She may be a little nervous when first meeting new people, but give her a moment and she'll transform into a total lovebug, gently bouncing up to say hello before settling in close for some affection. Once she's burned off some energy, she's more than happy to curl up in your lap - even if she hasn't quite figured out her size - and neck scritches are guaranteed to win her heart. If you're a Malinois lover looking for a beautiful, active, affectionate companion with brains and personality to spare, Klara is your girl!

-4 year old brown and black Belgian Malinois

-55 pound spayed female

-may need the standard round of shots and preventatives before she can go home with you, but the shelter can likely help with this!

-came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 10/16/26 as an internal transfer from another shelter -we’re hoping that here, Klara gets the exposure she needs to find her furever family

-the perfect package deal - sweet, smart, and eager to please, with a heart of gold (SO loving!)

-could easily fit into a wide range of households or families

-a little nervous at first, but warms up beautifully and becomes a total lovebug once she’s comfy with you!
