Meet Lenni!

Lenni is a sweet, gentle girl who just needs a little time to warm up to new people and surroundings. When she first arrives somewhere new, she can be a bit timid and reserved, but give her a few days, a little routine, and some reassurance, and she'll start showing you just how wonderful she is.

We've watched her confidence grow so much in the short time she's been with us. She now happily ventures around the house, enjoys time outside, goes on walks, and greets her favorite people with the happiest little tail wags!

Once she's comfortable, Lenni loves being with her people, chewing on toys, playing outside, going for walks, getting treats, snuggling, and taking cozy naps. She's a pretty low-key girl who enjoys the simple things in life.

She's also incredibly gentle and sweet with our school-aged children. She's been a wonderful houseguest, with no accidents in the house, and does well both on her own and in her crate.

Lenni is still getting comfortable with new people and experiences, so she'll appreciate a family who gives her a little grace and lets her settle in at her own pace. But don't mistake her initial shyness for a dog who takes forever to warm up. Once she has a few days to get her bearings and figure out her new people, her sweet personality really starts to shine.

Hi! I'm Lenni! I'm a sweet, gentle girl, and I'm looking for my forever family!

I'm a little shy when I first meet people or find myself somewhere new. I just need a few days to get comfortable, figure out my surroundings, and learn who my people are. But once I settle in, my personality really starts to shine, and you'll see just how happy I am to be part of your family!

I'm also very gentle with school-aged kids! I'm pretty easygoing around the house and I just love to be where the people are chewing on my favorite toy.

I'm not a high-maintenance kind of girl. I don't need much to be happy: just a safe home, a little patience while I get settled, some toys, and people to love.
