Please Note: Carolina Poodle Rescue requires a meet and greet where everyone living in the home - all people and all dogs - will come to our farm to meet dogs. This is non-negotiable. Please do not apply if you and your family can't make this commitment.

Lil Dolly is a tiny, shy poodle mix who’s looking for a patient and loving home where she can take her time to settle in. She’s gentle, quiet, and sensitive — the kind of dog who blossoms slowly but beautifully once she feels safe.

She’s more comfortable with women and needs extra time to warm up to men. Dolly loves other dogs and gains confidence from their companionship, so she’d do best in a home with another calm, friendly dog.

Must have: patient adopter, calm environment, gentle routine
Exercise: light — short walks or playtime in a fenced yard
Best with: women, another dog, quiet household
Not ideal for: loud or busy homes
Energy level: low — quiet, sensitive, affectionate

Lil Dolly is a delicate heart who thrives on kindness and consistency. She’s ready to find a peaceful home where she can feel safe and loved. Her caregivers describe her as a sweet little soul who mostly keeps to herself but enjoys treats, toys, and gentle affection once she trusts you.

Good with dogs: yes
Good with kids: older, considerate children

Fun fact:
Dolly loves treats and toys — they help her open up faster and show her playful side once she feels secure.
