Loretta

Loretta is very shy and skinny. She is a shepherd mix and only weighs 30 lbs.

She had 5 puppies but they were taken from her when they were only 5 weeks old and she became very depressed. She likes to stay on her foster mom's bed unless she is outside with the other dogs. She does seem happy and perks up when she is out with the dogs.

She is housebroke but has not been crated. She needs a home with another companion dog and it will take time and patience to win her over, but she is very sweet.

The only time her foster mom can pet her is when they are in bed watching tv. She still acts so scared. She will be so beautiful once she gains some weight.

Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO.

Loretta’s adoption fee is $295.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
