Max2

Max is a 2-year-old, mixed breed, 53-pound dream of a dog with a heart as big as his smile. Despite everything he has been through, he remains one of the friendliest, happiest dogs you will ever meet. Max was rescued from a severe neglect and hoarding case. Thankfully, Max has left that life behind and is ready for the loving home he has always deserved. He loves everyone he meets and gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes from the tiniest Chihuahua to the biggest Great Dane. To Max, every dog is a potential friend! He does ok with cats but will chase them if they run. He listens very well when you tell him to stop though.

Max would do best with older children over 12 years old. He tends to get nervous and uncomfortable around younger children that have a lot of energy.Max is crate trained and house trained. He is working on his leash walking skills at this time. Although he is housetrained, it is important to remember that accidents can occur while adjusting to a new home environment. With his gentle, easygoing personality, Max is ready to be a faithful and loving companion. His favorite place is by his side of his person, happily following them wherever they go. If you are looking for a loyal, loving companion who will always be there to brighten your day, look no further than Max. He cannot wait to meet his forever family.* When considering adoption, keep in mind that dogs thrive on structure and routine. They adjust much better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability. The adoption fee for Max is $500.
