Megan

Born: February 20, 2026

I am looking for my forever home.

Meet Megan! This beautiful girl has spent 169 days waiting for a forever family, and we’re hoping her happily ever after is just around the corner!

Megan arrived at Animal House Shelter with her five siblings, all of whom have since been adopted. Sadly, Megan has been left behind, spending most of her puppyhood growing up in the shelter.

Megan was briefly adopted as a young puppy, but after just one week, she was returned for being too energetic. The truth is, she was simply being a puppy! Like any young dog, she loves to play, explore, and have fun!

Megan is an absolute sweetheart who adores everyone she meets! She’s incredibly affectionate, loves children, and enjoys playing with other dogs. Her happy, playful personality is sure to bring endless smiles to the lucky family who adopts her!

She would thrive in an active home where she can enjoy daily walks, outdoor adventures, and plenty of playtime. A big backyard would be a wonderful bonus! Megan is still young and will benefit from continued training, patience, and a family who understands that puppies need guidance as they grow.

It’s heartbreaking to watch such a loving girl spend her puppyhood behind shelter walls when she has so much love to give. Megan deserves to experience the comfort of a real home, the joy of having her own family, and the security of knowing she’ll never be left behind again.

All five of her siblings have found their happily ever after. Now it’s Megan’s turn!

Could you be the family she’s been waiting for? Fill out an adoption application and come meet this special girl!

Adoption Donation: $600

My litter includes: Bates, Calliope and Megan

All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption.

All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present to be able to adopt. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption.

Appointments are recommended. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family.

Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble. We also cannot guarantee the ages of our adoptable animals or how large puppies will be when fully grown.

We look forward to seeing you soon!
