Meet Misty, a young and delightful dog eagerly waiting for a forever home. She recently arrived in Rhode Island with some of her siblings. She is slowly adjusting to life here. She is cautious with meeting new people and may bark initially, but once she gets to know you she will be your new best friend. She is more of an introvert than an extrovert, but once comfortable she is sweet as can be!

Misty is house trained, crate trained, and walks pretty good on the leash but may bark if she sees other dogs. She is living with two other dogs and doing well. She would benefit from another confident canine companion to help her adjust. Once she is comfortable she is playful, affectionate, and has the cutest happy wiggle. She is a sweet girl who is looking for a quiet predictable home without small kids where can feel safe and acclimate to home life!

An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see HERE for more information about this.

**Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
