Oban

Oban – Calm, Easygoing and Treat Motivated

Oban is a 9-year-old Alaskan Malamute mix weighing 79 pounds. This sweet senior has a calm, independent personality and is wonderfully easy to handle.

Easygoing on Walks: Oban walks nicely on leash, with only occasional moderate pulling. He enjoys leisurely strolls and plenty of time to sniff and explore.
Calm & Independent: Oban is content doing his own thing. After exploring the yard, he happily chills and doesn’t seek constant attention.
Treat Motivated: Oban can be selective about treats, and cheese definitely gets his attention! With a tasty cheese reward, he is happy to show off his “sit”, his happy tap dance and practice catching treats mid-air.
Curious & Patient: Oban sometimes takes an interest in people and dogs passing by, quietly observing the world around him. He also showed impressive patience during a two-hour bath and brushing session, taking it all in stride.

Oban would do best with appropriately matched dogs or as a solo dog with well-matched canine friends.
