Meet Poodlie.

She has lived through the horrors of a puppy mill, and now she is slowly, quietly discovering that the world can be a beautiful place after all.

Little by little, Poodlie is learning what it means to be a dog. She recently discovered one of life’s simple pleasures: sitting next to her human on the couch, watching TV. And she absolutely loves spending time outside, sitting beside her person, taking in the fresh air and quietly contemplating the world around her.

Poodlie isn’t asking for much. Just a safe place, a kind human, and the time she needs to figure out that life can be gentle.

She will need patience, understanding, and someone who celebrates the little victories. She may not be the dog who runs into your arms on day one, but watching her slowly come out of her shell will be a reward of its own.
