This adopter said it was not fair to charge her since she only had her 2.5 hrs before she escaped and was killed.

Dear Future family,

I’m Reyna. I’m just about 2 years old (December birthday!), a very adorable 12-ish pound Chiweenie/something mix (maybe some spaniel something in there too?), and I have been patiently waiting for my people to discover me. My last owner had to surrender me as she had to move to an assisted living home.

I have a few requirements for my forever home:

Walks? Absolutely. I need to get out there and investigate the neighborhood, because apparently there is a LOT to smell.

Exploring? Yes, please! I have a curious little soul and I want to see what the world has to offer. I may be small, so I’m thinking more “fun adventures” than “let’s climb a mountain.”

I have sweet eyes, a happy little personality, and a whole lot of love waiting to be given. I’m already crate trained, and I’m a pretty impressive nighttime roommate. I sleep quietly in my crate ALL night and wake up ready to start the day — without leaving any surprises behind!

I’m still a young girl, so my people will need to keep working with me on my training and make sure I get enough exercise and mental stimulation. And because I’m part Chiweenie (and possibly part Who-Knows-What ), I may have a little something to say when I’m excited or when I’m left alone. I’m working on that!

What I really want is people who have time for me — people who will take me places, teach me things, laugh at my silly little antics, and then let me curl up beside them when the day's adventures are over.

I don't need a huge house or enormous adventures. I just need my people.

Give me a leash, a little adventure, a cozy spot, and someone who thinks my sweet face is impossible to resist, and I think we could have something pretty wonderful.
