Sadie
Young (3 months 5 days) · Female · Australian Shepherd (medium coat)

Meet this smart, energetic Australian Shepherd puppy who is ready to find her adventure partner! She is about 3 months old, and 25 pounds (she looks bigger in her photos though.)
True to her breed, she is very intelligent, athletic, eager to learn, and always ready for her next adventure. She has the drive and enthusiasm that makes Aussies so special, and she would be an excellent companion for an active family looking for a dog to enjoy hiking, running, exploring, or even agility or other dog sports.
She loves being outdoors. Give her a field or a trail and she is in her element exploring—and if there’s a lake nearby, swimming is one of her favorite things already. She is happy to be right alongside her people for whatever adventure comes next. She is so loyal as well, always looking to see where you are.
Despite her energy and athleticism, she has a wonderful, social temperament. She is friendly with everyone she meets, including children, other dogs, and cats. She enjoys being part of the family and is happiest when she gets to be included. She is content playing with her toys and chewing on bones while her foster mom works from home, and can easily keep herself entertained.
She is doing wonderfully with her manners and routine. She is
potty trained on the right schedule, crate trained (she is crated when foster mom leaves to do errands), and great in the car
, making her a good candidate for a family who wants a puppy they can take along. At the end of the long day, she loves to snooze on the couch or bed, and will roll over for bedtime tummy rubs. She is even sleeping soundly all night in the bed with foster mom.
If you’re looking for a gentle, athletic, outgoing puppy with a love for adventure and a social personality, this girl could be the perfect match. She has the brains, energy, and heart to become an incredible lifelong companion for anyone willing to continue her training and socialization.
