Tanner

Meet Tanner!

Tanner came to PRBJ from one of our rescue partners in Puerto Rico. He was originally found on the streets and was taken in to a foster home while waiting on a flight to Florida. He has characteristics of a Lab, but we're not really sure of his exact breed mix, as most of the dogs in PR are a mixture of so many different breeds.

Tanner is an absolute LOVE! He is gentle and loving. He does great with other dogs and with kids. He is a real people pleaser. Tanner just wants to find someone love him and in return he will do the same.

Important Information for New Puppy Parents

Welcoming a new puppy into your home is an exciting and rewarding experience—but it also comes with important responsibilities. To help your puppy grow into a happy, confident, and well-adjusted adult dog, dedication to obedience training, socialization, and consistent potty training is essential.

We strongly recommend that the entire family participates in puppy training classes. This not only helps build a strong bond with your new pup but also ensures that everyone is using the same commands and techniques, creating a clear and consistent environment for learning.
