Tatum

Young Tatum was part of a litter of five puppies abandoned by a stray mom in a yard in Dulce, NM. We estimate the puppies were about 4-5 weeks old during the first week of September, 2026. The family cared for them the best they could and rehomed one pup, but were in and out of town for several weeks. Around October 8, the pups were taken in by another family in Dulce and were given first DAPP on October 17. This family kept one pup and we took the remaining three into foster on October 18.

Tatum is the smallest but most adventurous and independent of the three pups in foster. She is still a trifle unwilling to share her food but loves to play and is sociable with people.
