1-year-old Lab/Great Dane mix… or maybe something else? We need YOUR help figuring that part out! Folks, sometimes identifying a breed is a guessing game for us, too! He's incredibly smart, sweet, and gentle with his people. And while his size might make him a little intimidating to walk, don't let that fool you. This boy sticks right by your side and genuinely enjoys your company.Now, let's talk about what kind of home he's looking for!Being a big, playful guy, he doesn't always realize just how BIG he is! He can accidentally knock things around and needs a family who understands that his size and energy sometimes come with a little extra chaos.

An active family or a home with a securely fenced yard where he can burn off some energy would be wonderful.He was previously adopted but returned due to some guarding tendencies that developed in the home. He initially did well with the resident dog during introductions, but sometimes the adjustment period in a new home brings out behaviors that weren't immediately apparent.Because of this, we recommend an experienced adopter, particularly if there are other dogs in the home. Someone who understands canine behavior, resource guarding, and proper introductions will be important to setting him up for success.We don't want his size or his challenges to overshadow the incredible dog he is. He's young, intelligent, affectionate, playful, and full of potential.
