Meet Viola, a bright and lovable 5-month-old Dachshund mix who was found as a stray and is now ready to write her next chapter with a family of her very own! This sweet girl has so much life ahead of her and is looking for a home where she can feel safe, loved, and included in all the fun.Viola is a real cutie, with a distinctive brindle brown coat, beautiful brown eyes, and a sweet face that is hard to resist. At just 5 months old and 22 pounds, she still has some growing to do, but she is expected to become a perfect medium-sized (30 - 60 pounds) companion. She gets along well with other dogs and does well with children.

Viola has been around cats since coming into rescue.As a young pup, Viola is at that wonderful age when the world is full of new things to discover! She would love an active family who can give her plenty of attention, opportunities to play, and adventures to look forward to. Whether it is going for walks, romping around in the yard, playing with her favorite people, or simply hanging out together, Viola wants to be part of the action. She is still learning the ropes, including house training and walking nicely on a leash, but she is ready to keep building those skills with a little patience, consistency, and encouragement.
