All DPS Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, flea/tick treated, and microchipped prior to adoption.

Meet Walmart, the Last Pup of the Discount Litter!
Say hello to Walmart, the final pup from the Discount Litter! His siblings, including Ross and TJ Maxx, have all found their forever homes, and now it’s Walmart’s turn. This tiny Chihuahua mix is 11 weeks old and the definition of easy breezy, playful, and full of puppy personality!
Walmart has settled into foster life beautifully and has a wonderful puppy routine. His day starts bright and early around 5:30 AM, when he knows foster mom is awake. He heads outside for a potty break, followed by breakfast. After breakfast, it’s time for his favorite part of the morning: playing and zooming around! Once he’s worn himself out, he happily settles down for a morning nap.
When he wakes up, he has another meal followed by more playing and puppy adventures before settling down for another rest. He grew up wrestling with his siblings, playing tug-of-war, and chasing them around the house. He’s also perfectly happy being chased by the resident little dogs and enjoys spending time with the larger dogs in his foster home. At night, Walmart settles comfortably into his crate for bedtime. He’s learning that puppies have a routine: eat, play, potty, nap, and repeat!
Walmart is active, curious, cuddly, affectionate, and very responsive. For such a young puppy, his foster family has been impressed with how well he listens and how quickly he understands when it’s time to stop playing and settle down.
This solid-brown boy is the resident comedian! Walmart is independent, outgoing, and always finding a way to make everyone laugh. He loves diving underneath blankets and scratching around until he gets tired and falls asleep in his favorite cozy spot. His silly little tail wiggles when he knows he’s been caught doing something he shouldn’t. He is one entertaining puppy!
Walmart is a loving, fun, social little guy who would make a wonderful companion for a family ready for all the joy and puppy antics that come with raising a young dog. He’s affectionate, playful, curious, and already showing a wonderful personality that will continue to blossom as he grows.
He may have a discount-store name, but there’s nothing discounted about the love he has to give. And unlike the store, this greeter comes home with you!
