Wiley

This dog is available to meet by appointment only.

Wiley is a 3-year-old, 30-pound Australian Cattle Dog mix with a sensitive soul. This handsome boy is slowly coming out of his shell, and every little breakthrough is worth celebrating.

After some initial hesitation, Wiley is now much more comfortable gearing up for walks. He’s beginning to seek out volunteers for gentle pets as his confidence grows. He’s discovering that treats (especially cheese!) and affection make life a little less scary.

Wiley enjoys spending time with other dogs in playgroup. He may do well with a dog friend in the home, or as the only dog with occasional playdates.

Wiley will thrive with a patient, understanding adopter who will give him time to settle in and build trust at his own pace. If you have a gentle approach and a soft spot for fearful dogs, Wiley might be your special guy. Please submit an adoption questionnaire to meet him.
