Zach

Zach came to MCHS on 7/12/2026 with his sisters (now all adopted) after they were being fostered by another rescue and needed a new place to go. Born on 4/27/2026, Zach is now 5 months old and is the last puppy of his litter, so he is long overdue to find a home. His mother was an approximately 60-pound pit bull type dog, but we do not know anything about the father. Zach has been vet checked, neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped, and his fee is $150.

Zach is looking for a home that can provide him with continued training and not leave him alone for very long hours. He should do well with other dogs and kids and is young enough to learn to interact properly with cats. We are guessing he will be a medium-sized to large dog at maturity. He is a wonderful young dog who would make a great family companion!

NOTE: Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org.

We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South.

We do require that potential adopters be at least 21 years old and that any resident dogs be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing/preventatives, and spayed or neutered.
