Spice Girl sisters, Sage and Ginger, came into our care when their owner was no longer able to take care of them. Sweet as can be, Sage is happy to cuddle with you for as long as you are willing to let her. She is becoming less shy each day as she gets to know the volunteers. She enjoys her walks and is good with other dogs but and especially enjoys time with sister, Ginger. Sage is a small-size girl at only 26 pounds and is just 2 years old. Dax is a handsome Australian Shepherd boy with a happy personality. He loves people and likes to play with other dogs. He will sit for treats and wants to please. He knows many verbal commands. Patsy, the sweetest girl ever! She came to us with 7 puppies, but that life is now behind her. She is 7 years old and it's time to enjoy her life without having any more puppies. Patsy is calm and very friendly with people and other dogs. She is heartworm positive and has started her treatment. AWL will continue to provide her treatment until she is negative. She is an absolute angel in the car, looking out the window and sitting perfectly in the seat. She walks nicely on a leash and enjoys walks on the trails. Patsy is just about the perfect girl! Meet Cupcake, a professional snuggler! She is active and likes to play but given a choice, she will almost always choose snuggling. This little cutie is easy to train, as she likes to please. She knows sit, down, stay, and place and will go to her place when told. She’s playful, and toys and bones are her absolute joy. She walks well on a leash and rides extremely well in a vehicle. She is a 48 pound, Staffordshire Terrier mix and 100% adorable, whip-smart, and ready for her forever family. Because Cupcake would like to get ALL of the attention, she would prefer to be the only dog in the home. She’ll thrive with someone who can give her love, playtime, and a chance to show off her clever little brain.

Sweet Nala, is a victim of unforeseen circumstances. Her owner had to surrender her after she was evicted from her job and made the hard decision to surrender Nala to our program.Nala is young, she was born the beginning of March and all she's known is the love and care from her former owner. She gets along great with other dogs and absolutely loves people.She is potty trained, curious about Cats, but does not have a high praise drive. She has also been crate trained.With that being said, she still is a puppy and needs to be monitored so she does not chew on items.Nala Is currently being fostered in Arkansas, but transport is available to New England. Her adoption fee is $450. She is microchipped.

Snoopy is an adorable six month old puppy who was abandoned when her owners moved away. A kind gentleman has taken Snoopy into his home along with her litter mates. We are hoping that Snoopy can find a soft place to land with a loving family or individual. She gets along great with her littermates and loves playing. Her soulful eyes will when your heart. Snoopy is in the process of being vetted. She will be available November 30 once all of her puppy vaccines have been completed. Her adoption fee is $250 and that includes the price at transport to New Englandshe will need someone who can offer her patients as she's never been potty trained. Primarily she's only known living outdoors. But with time, she will learn quickly as she's very smart.

This adorable girl is an Arkansas rescue looking to lay her roots down in New England. Do you have room in your heart for endless love and companionship? Jessie is four months young, she is not your typical hound in the sense she'd not a barker. A little more on the reserve side, but very sweet. She is fully vetted: all juvenile core vaccinations, spayed, microchipped, and examined by a licensed veterinarian. She is current on flea/tick prevention, dewormer, and heart worm prevention. Her adoption fee is $550. Like all puppies, she will need somebody that has patience to potty trained, and get through the early stages of puppyhood.

Lady lives up to her name! She's a very sweet docile little girl with a loving heart. Super mild mannered, she enjoys napping on her doggy bed, snuggles, doggy treats, and hanging out with her little mates. She is an Arkansas rescue that belongs to be a part of a loving family. She also has been spayed. No puppies for this girl! She will be in Enfield Connecticut on July 24. If she's not adopted, then she will be featured at the petsmart store in Williston Connecticut on the 25th and 26th of July.

Meet our gorgeous puppy Brandy! She has a unique look about her. One of her striking features is her beautiful brindle coat. We believe she is a mixture of a Black Mountain Cur and Hound dog. Brandy is four months young. Currently she weighs about 15 pounds and may grow to be 40-45 pounds at maturity. She recently was spayed and has been microchipped. In addition, she’s up to date on all core juvenile vaccinations, heart worm prevention, flea/tick prevention, and has been dewormed. Her adoption fee is only $550.

Alfie is 6 month old 4 pound Yorkie (possibly mixed with Poodle) who is looking for his forever home. He is located in Arkansas and only available to Arkansas adopters. He is a bouncy, happy little guy who enjoys cuddling. He typically is a quiet puppy and sleeps soundly and quietly in his crate. He is UTD on vaccines and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. He is not yet neutered due to have one testicle not descended yet. Our vet wasn't comfortable doing the neuter just yet due to his size. His adopter will need to bring him to our vet once he's a little older and a little bigger to have the neuter done.
