These stunning puppies have been hand raised and are very social and loving. They have been around dogs, cats and kids in their current foster home.

13. Charlie Brown

Adult · Male · Labrador Retriever · 23 mi from Oceanside

Meet Charlie Brown! He is around 5.5 years old and is a gorgeous purebred yellow Lab. Your typical loving big Lab, Charlie loves to play fetch or carry a toy around, loves the water, and is always eager for treats. He is better with female dogs than male dogs and he has been tested around dog savvy cats in a controlled environment and passed. With a slow, patient introduction, we think Charlie could live in a home with cats. Charlie was housetrained and crate trained in his previous home. If you think you are ready to add to your family by adopting Charlie Brown then fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website today! We recommend completing the questionnaire and connecting with an adoption coach before looking for a dog or puppy you'd like to adopt.

14. Napoleon Dynamite Pup

Puppy · Male · Labrador Retriever / Shepherd / Mixed · 23 mi from Oceanside

Vote for one of the Napoleon Dynamite pups! These friendly, outgoing puppies are social sweeties. They came to us without a mom or dad so we aren't quite sure of their breed mix, but we believe they are Lab and Shepherd mixes on track to be large dogs when they are done growing. Their tails are always wagging, and these pups love any and all attention. Rex is looking for a family that understands the time, patience, and energy needed to raise a young pup. We require all puppy adopters to provide training that includes: house training, basic training, leash training, and socialization. Additionally, this cutie is going to need proper exercise, mental stimulation, and your attention and love to grow up to be the best companion.

26. Justice Pup

Puppy · Male · Labrador Retriever / Terrier / Mixed · 23 mi from Oceanside

The Justice puppies will arrest your heart! These cuties were born in a loving foster home to mama Justice, a sweet Lab mix. We don't know what all these puppies are mixed with - possibly Terrier and Shepherd - but they are currently on track to be large dogs when they are done growing. The Justice puppies are thriving in their foster home where they love to run around their foster family's big yard and play. They are curious, adventurous and friendly puppies. Chamber is looking for a family that understands the time, patience, and energy needed to raise a young pup. We require all puppy adopters to provide training that includes: house training, basic training, leash training, and socialization.

27. Mini

Young (10 months) · Female · Chihuahua / Mixed (short coat) · 20 mi from Oceanside

Meet Mini — A Tiny Girl Who Truly Deserves Her Happily Ever After ❤️

When we found little Mini on the streets of Tijuana, she was absolutely starving. It was obvious that this precious 10-month-old puppy had been dumped and left to fend for herself.

During her veterinary exam, we discovered that Mini was pregnant. She was far too young, weak, and severely malnourished to safely carry her babies. Sadly, because her little body was so depleted, she lost her babies.

My heart broke for this tiny girl. She was still just a baby herself, yet she had already endured hunger, abandonment, and the loss of her puppies.

But Mini’s story doesn’t end there. ❤️

Read more about Mini

Today, she is safe, healthy, and finally getting the chance to simply be the puppy she was always meant to be.

And what a wonderful little girl she is! Mini is playful with all dogs, wonderful with cats, and I’m absolutely certain she would be wonderful with children, too. She has been fully vetted, vaccinated, and microchipped.

After everything Mini has been through in her short life, all she wants now is what every little dog deserves — a family to love her, a warm bed to sleep in, someone to spoil her, and a place she can finally call home.

Her beginning was heartbreaking, but we are determined to give her the happy ending she deserves. ❤️

Apply to foster or if youd like to give Mini her forever home apply at: www.tlck9rescue.org

Please help us find this tiny girl the family she has been waiting for.

28. Eureka Pup

Puppy · Male · Shepherd / Terrier / Mixed · 23 mi from Oceanside

Eureka, it's puppies! The Eureka puppies were found with their sweet mama Eureka who did her very best caring for them. This family was found in a hole on the side of the road and thankfully rescued and taken to our Ranch. While we don't know who their dad was, mom is a medium sized girl, and we believe these puppies are a mix of Terrier and Shepherd. They are on track to be medium to large in size as well. Taggart is the largest of his siblings and a total beach dog. He loves to play in water and uses his water bowl as his own personal splash pad. He is playful, good with other dogs, and likes all people including kids.

Bringing a dog home to your cat

Tell the rescue about your cat: their age and how they react to dogs. A dog who has lived calmly with one cat may still want to chase a cat that runs.

Introduce them slowly. Keep them apart for the first few days and swap bedding so they get used to each other's scent, then let them meet with the dog on a leash, rewarding calm behavior.

Make sure the cat can always get somewhere the dog can't reach, like a high shelf or a room behind a baby gate, and keep the litter box and cat food out of the dog's way.
