Rango Mango and his 2 siblings were born to Momma Zoey a 10 lb., Yorkie Terrier/Poodle mix on July 20, 2026. We believe his Dad was a Shih Tzu with the being the clue. Meet Oscar: a 5-year-old, 22-pound sweetheart with a big, happy smile and an even bigger personality.
When Oscar first came into foster care, he was the dog watching quietly from the corner, unsure whether people could be trusted. Four months later, he’s blossoming. He’s discovered a love of toys, so much so that he gathers all his favorites into one big pile. He plays fetch with enthusiasm and has a blast romping with other small dogs at the dog park. He’s even starting to enjoy walks, though he’s still getting the hang of them. And when it’s time to rest, you’ll find him burrowed deep in a blanket for a cozy nap.

That’s not because he’s unfriendly, as he doesn’t have an aggressive bone in his body, but because he looks to one special person for guidance and affection. Right now that’s his foster mom, who gets all the belly-rub requests. He’s shy with new people and probably won’t show his true self at a first meeting, but the way to his heart is simple: bring treats! Car rides make him a little nervous, but he does great once he arrives. He hasn’t lived with cats, but his foster thinks he’d likely do fine with them.

When Ryder first joined OURS, he discovered the wonderful world of unlimited kibble and, well, let's just say he got a little carried away! He gobbled up so much food that his belly ballooned, sending us straight to the emergency vet in a panic. As it turns out, Ryder simply has some wonky ribs that make his tummy look a little unusual when it's full. Everything works just as it should, and all that kibble digested without a hitch! Crisis averted, and Ryder earned himself a pretty funny story!
But Ryder's journey hasn't been all laughs. He came to us with his sister, his very best friend and partner in crime. Sadly, she lost her battle with complications from distemper, leaving Ryder to figure out the world without her. And while our hearts broke for this sweet boy, Ryder showed us just how resilient a little dog can be.

Jessie can initially be shy with new people, particularly men, and she appreciates being allowed to make friends at her own pace. Once she feels comfortable, her playful personality takes center stage. She’s very much a “follow the pack” kind of girl and looks to the dogs around her for cues, which is another reason we think the right canine sibling could be fantastic for her.
Right now, some of Jessie’s extra energy and frustration are amplified because she is recovering from her spay and hasn’t been able to run, wrestle, and play the way she normally would. When she gets excited, she can be vocal and occasionally mouthy in that silly puppy way, so she’ll need someone willing to patiently teach her appropriate ways to channel her enthusiasm. She’s also learning that shoes, hats, and other tempting human belongings aren’t actually dog toys!
Jessie isn’t looking for a quiet, sedentary life. She wants activities, adventures, zoomies, toys, training, and preferably a dog friend who thinks wrestling is just as much fun as she does. Because she needs room to burn off energy and can be vocal when excited, apartment living probably isn’t the best fit.
With an active family, consistent boundaries, plenty of appropriate exercise, and some confidence-building along the way, we think Jessie is going to absolutely blossom. She may not be a couch potato or champion cuddler just yet—there are simply too many exciting things to do!—but for the family looking for a funny, spirited little sidekick who will keep life interesting, Jessie might be exactly their girl. Meet Inky
Some dogs run straight into your arms. Others make you earn your way into their heart—and somehow, that makes every little piece of their trust feel like a gift. Inky is one of those dogs.
Inky came to us with her Dachshund-mix family after living in a home where the dogs were used for breeding. She appears to be a little older than the others, and it’s entirely possible she may even be their mama. We may never know exactly what role Inky played in their previous life, but we do know that she arrived as the shyest of the bunch.

This beautiful girl prefers to observe things from the perimeter while she decides whether everything is safe. But look closely and you’ll realize something important: Inky wants connection. She watches you with the most soulful eyes, and when your eyes meet, you can almost see her working up the courage.
Then, slowly, she makes her way over.
And before you know it, this cautious little girl is crawling into your lap.
The first time we saw Inky’s tail wag was pure magic. It may seem like such a small thing, but in rescue, sometimes a tail wag tells an entire story. It told us that somewhere underneath all that uncertainty was a little dog beginning to believe that maybe she was safe. Maybe these humans were good. And maybe being loved could actually feel pretty wonderful.

Meet Crypto
Crypto may take a little time to decide you’re his person—but once he feels safe, you’ll get to see the sweet, gentle boy hiding behind that shy exterior.
This handsome guy is naturally a little reserved when meeting new people and settling into new surroundings. He isn’t the type to charge into a room demanding attention. Crypto likes to observe, figure things out, and build trust at his own pace. Give him that little bit of patience, and you’ll be rewarded with a wonderful companion who just needed someone to give him the chance to feel secure.

Crypto has an easygoing, non-dominant personality and does well with other dogs. He’ll occasionally play with toys, but he isn’t possessive over them or his food. He’s crate trained and may serenade you with a few whines and his signature little “whistle” when he has something to say.
Like many dogs adjusting to a new home, Crypto may do some marking at first, so a belly band is a great tool during that initial transition. Once he understands the routine and realizes this is his home, we expect that behavior to settle as he becomes comfortable.

Jordash and her 6 siblings were born on 3/11/26 to, Momma Moana a Dachshund/Caviler King Charles mix. She came from a hoarding situation and was very pregnant. By the size and look of the puppies we do believe there is likely at lest 2 dad's; A Mini Schnauzer and a Chihuahua. The puppies are all doing well and are healthy happy puppies. As always, we do highly recommend positive reinforcement training to insure a well behaved and well-rounded puppy/dog.

Tangi and her brother were born on approximately 12/5/25. They came to the rescue from a hoarding situation. Tangi is playful, sweet, healthy and can be shy at first meeting. She needs an extra bit of time to warm up with new people. She does well with other dogs and cats.
