Would love lots of snuggles and pets! Training | In progress. Each foster works with their pups individually. All puppies are working on crate training, potty training, leash training, and basic commands. Leash | Too little to leash walk, but will learn with time! It means that an unvaccinated or partially vaccinated puppy should never be allowed to put their feet on the ground in any public or communal area where other dogs or animals may have been. These babies love to play in secure yards, and be snuggled and held on family walks.Activity Level | Moderate/High. Typical puppy who loves to play, nap, repeat!Health Notes | Healthy and Happy :)Thank you! Cadbury has allergies that may require lifelong medication, and consistent, tailored grooming is incredibly important in keeping his allergies under control. His future family should be prepared to stay on top of his medical and grooming needs to keep this little man feeling his best!As far as house manners go, Cadbury has been a perfect gentleman! He hasn’t had a single accident in his foster home. He loves bones and antler chews and is always happy to entertain himself with a good chew session or romantic evening with his dog bed. Crate training, however, is not currently listed on his résumé. He has cried when kenneled and would appreciate a patient family willing to help him work on his independence.Cadbury’s ideal family is one that can keep up with his grooming and medical needs, appreciate his larger-than-life personality, and understand that personal space is simply not a concept he subscribes to.If you’re looking for a sweet, silly, affectionate little man with a big personality, a few extra maintenance requirements, and a questionable romantic history, Cadbury is your guy! They were rescued from a shelter in New Mexico.Meet and greets are by appointment only. Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free pet insurance. We are not affiliated with MetLife pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect). Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets. The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico. While all dogs are picked up in Colorado, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances delaying pick up. Breed labels are a "best guess" by a shelter veterinarian and cannot be guaranteed.

She's happy to get out and explore, but given her French Bulldog build, she's probably better suited to leisurely walks and shorter adventures than strenuous exercise or long, demanding outings. She's more of a stroll-and-then-nap kind of girl!At night, Bertha slept perfectly in her crate, making herself quite the easy houseguest. She's sweet, funny, affectionate, and full of character. If you're looking for a companion who will keep you smiling, happily soak up your attention, and provide plenty of entertainment with her ridiculous little snores, Big Bertha might just be your girl! They were rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas.Meet and greets are by appointment only. An approved application is required to schedule a meeting. Check out our events page for upcoming open adoption events! We have no additional back story or update for this dog at this time.
