She has such a happy, loving personality and is sure to bring plenty of smiles and laughter to her forever home. Justice is still young and has lots to learn, so she’ll need a family who is ready for all the fun, training, patience, and love that comes with raising a puppy. Hi there! My name is Zeke, and I am a 5-month-old Golden Retriever mix with a heart full of joy and a wagging tail that never stops! My foster family says I am the ultimate happy-go-lucky boy. I am incredibly easygoing, which means I love to go with the flow, whether we are exploring the world or hanging out at home. I am a super smart puppy. I am very eager to please and absolutely love making you proud, especially when you tell me what a good boy I am! I learn new things super fast, which makes training a blast. Right now, I am working really hard on my potty training, and I am getting better every single day. When it comes to playtime, I am an expert! My absolute favorite things to do are chasing balls and sticks, playing with my canine friends, and I like to watch the birds fly around in my yard. I get along great with other dogs and kids, making me a perfect candidate for a fun, active family. I haven't met any cats yet, so that would be a new adventure for us to navigate together. After a busy day of playing and learning, there is nothing I love more than a good cuddle session. I will happily curl up right next to you to show you how affectionate I am. I am already neutered and fully up to date on all of my vaccines, so I am completely ready to find my forever family. Could that be you?

Hi, I'm Birdie! I am a five-month-old Blue Tick Hound and Golden Retriever mix, and I am officially looking for my forever family! My mom was a Blue Tick Hound and my dad was a Golden Retriever, which my foster family says makes me the perfect mix of super smart, highly observant, and extra cute. I have a loving heart and a totally outgoing personality. In fact, I have never met a stranger in my whole life! I absolutely love playing with other dogs and I do amazing with kids. (I haven't been around any cats yet, so they are still a mystery to me!). My absolute favorite things to do are wrestling with my dog friends, chasing after sticks that you throw for me, and showering my humans with big, happy, wet puppy kisses! My top priority is making sure I give you my full attention. I am working really hard on my potty training and my foster family says I will master it soon. I am also already spayed and completely up to date on all my puppy vaccines. I have the sweetest personality and so much love to give. Will you let me bring my sunshine into your home? Apply to adopt me today!

Roxy Baby is the perfect blend of athletic Boxer energy and sweet companion. At three years old, she has outgrown the hectic puppy phase but still has plenty of stamina for long walks, backyard games of fetch, or weekend hikes. When playtime is over, she loves nothing more than curling up next to her favorite humans for some well-deserved belly rubs.

Because Roxy Baby's history with children and felines is currently unknown, a home that can manage slow, managed introductions would be best. If you have kids or other pets, a meet-and-greet will be an important step to ensure everyone gets along. She would thrive with an active individual or family who can give her the exercise, training, and love she deserves.

Medical Note: This dog is being treated/has been treated for heartworm disease. Untreated heartworm disease can cause lasting damage to the heart, lungs and arteries, and can affect the dog’s health and quality of life even after the parasites are gone, possibly presenting as medical complications and/or new conditions in the future. Whenever possible, SOSARL advocates for following the American Heartworm Society guidelines for heartworm disease treatment as the safest and most effective methods; the active portion of this treatment protocol can take up to four months to complete. Once treatment is completed and the dog tests negative for microfilaria, the dog will be cleared to resume normal activity and will be ready to travel north and be placed into an adoptive home. This dog showed no symptoms of heartworm disease before or during treatment, and is expected to complete treatment with no complications. Please ask your Adoption Counselor for the specific treatment protocol used for and current status of this dog. Please check with your vet if you have any questions or concerns about this medical history.

An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see HERE for more information about this.

**Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.

, a handsome 2-year-old Shepherd mix who is ready to find his ultimate adventure partner! With his striking good looks and intelligent, loyal eyes, Milo is the perfect blend of brains and athletic charm.

At two years old, Milo is past the hectic puppy phase but still has plenty of youthful energy. True to his Shepherd heritage, he is eager to please, alert, and thrives when he has a job to do—whether that's joining you on a morning jog, learning cool new tricks, or mastering the perfect leash walk. He has a sharp mind that loves puzzle toys and consistent, positive training. When the outdoor fun is done, Milo is more than happy to settle down by your feet (or on your lap, if you let him!) for a serious cuddle session.

Milo’s history with children and felines is currently unknown. Because shepherds can have a natural herding instinct, any introductions to kids or small animals should be done slowly, safely, and with supervision.

He thrives on structure and would love a person or family ready to continue his basic training to help him be the best canine citizen he can be.

If you are looking for a loyal, intelligent, and active companion to fill your days with love and adventure, Milo might just be your perfect match!

I might only be a year old, but I’ve already beaten the tough stuff—I’m a parvo survivor, which means I’m strong, healthy, and ready for life's next big adventure!

I’m a social Catahoula mix who thinks just about every person and dog I meet is my new best friend. I haven't spent time around cats or little kids yet, so I'm not sure how I'd do with them, but I know for sure that I love companionship. If you're looking for a loyal, friendly, and resilient partner-in-crime, I'm your guy!

Denny’s story started with a heartbreak, but we know his next chapter is going to be full of love. This sweet 2-year-old pup was found abandoned, wandering the streets alone. Denny didn't deserve to be left behind, but despite it all, his spirit isn't broken. He is resilient, hopeful, and ready for a fresh start.

Because Denny was found as a stray, we don't currently know how he feels about cats or children. He will need a patient family willing to do slow, proper introductions to ensure everyone feels safe and comfortable.

Denny has spent his youth facing uncertainty, and now he is just looking for a loyal companion who will never give up on him. Could you be the one to show Denny what a real, permanent home feels like?

Whether she is fetching a ball, learning new tricks, or curling up next to you after a fun day, her happy-go-lucky attitude will keep a smile on your face. Because she is still a young pup, she is looking for a family eager to guide her through basic training and help her grow into the best dog she can be.

Aniya
! I’m a 1-year-old Shepherd mix with a lot of love to share and zero hesitation when it comes to making human or canine friends. I love playing, exploring, and hanging out with my people. My foster folks aren't quite sure how I feel about cats or kids yet since we haven't officially met, so I’d love a family willing to help me figure those out at my own pace. Want to go on an adventure together?

Chip is a sweet playful puppy with a gentle and sensitive nature. He’s the kind of dog that looks to his humans for reassurance especially as he continues to experience many things for the first time. Chip may take a minute to warm up to other dogs and often looks to his humans to make sure everything is ok. Once he feels comfortable, he makes friends and loves to play - he’s quickly blossoming in his RI foster home with playful and welcoming pups. Chip has been around children and done very well. Chip even helped to find a missing kitty for his previous foster mom.

Being an Aussie mix, Chip has the smarts to show for it. This young guy knows ‘sit’ and ‘down’ already and is eager to learn new tricks. Foster mom thinks he may even have a future in agility once he settles a bit into forever home life.

Chip's ideal adopter would be a confident dog owner that’s able to provide structure and reassurance to young Chip as he continues to explore the world. Continued positive social interactions with dogs and people would greatly help Chip to become a confident dog.

Hi! I’m HoneyBelle, a puppy with a heart full of love! I adore playing with other dogs and have a blast with kids too. Cats? They’re cool in my book! I’m super smart and friendly, always ready for a game or a gentle cuddle. My favorite thing is just going with the flow, whether it’s a quiet day indoors or an exciting adventure outside. I am working really hard on house training and am almost there with just a little more practice. I am good in the crate and am having fun learning to walk on the leash. You know what would be really fun, you and I sign up for some dog training classes together. I hear group training classes are a great way to reinforce important skills, learn some new tricks, and get some quality socialization time with other furry friends.

Looking for a loyal friend who fits right into your family and brings joy every day? I’m your pup! Let’s make wonderful memories together!

Whitney is a gal who is able to get along with everyone. Her fairly busy foster home had adults, chickens and goats. Whitney has also gotten along with other pup friends. She was playful but listened when corrected. Whitney loves people but also did ok left alone in her crate for up to 4 hours.
She was playful and loving with the children in her foster home and with new kids that she met along the way. She really looked for attention from her Foster Mom but got along great with Dad too. She also was friendly with new humans she met in her travels and enjoys going to new places. Whitney rides well in a car and likes to go for hikes and walks. After an hour or two of romping with friends, she is happy to relax and chill with some lap time. Wonderful Whitney just sounds like an all around fantastic pup who would make a great addition to just about any family. Her striking good looks match her sparkling personality. Whitney will be a wonderful companion so why wait? Bring Whitney home and let her shower you with Puppy Love today!
