With some much-needed TLC, patience, and lots of love, Ginger has blossomed into an absolutely pawsome girl! She is fun, playful, and full of love to give. Watching her regain her health and her happy spirit has been incredibly rewarding.
Now, Ginger is ready for the part she has been waiting for—a family of her very own. She deserves a loving home where she can continue to thrive, play, and finally know what it feels like to be truly cherished.
Her past may have been difficult, but her future can be filled with love.

Talia is heartworm positive, which means she has a bit of a journey ahead of her. She will need to stay at ARC for the next several months while she completes her treatment and gets ready for a healthy new chapter. But that doesn't mean her future family has to wait to meet her! Autumn came to us from LaBelle Animal Control with her seven precious puppies. She was an incredible mom—loving, devoted, and fiercely protective of her babies. She gave them everything she had, making sure they were safe and cared for until they were old enough to begin their own journeys.
Now, it’s Autumn’s turn.

Sebastian is a 10-month-old Yorkie/Chihuahua mix weighing just 5.5 pounds, and this tiny guy is everything you’d expect a happy puppy to be.
He’s playful, curious, sweet, and ready to discover what this whole big world is about. At his age, just about everything has the potential to become an adventure, and Sebastian is happy to participate!
Because Sebastian is a brand-new arrival at Canine Castaways, we’re still getting to know him. We haven’t discovered all his favorite things, funny quirks, or exactly what his grown-up personality will be just yet.
What we do know is that he’s a happy little puppy who’s ready to learn, play, love, and grow up with a family of his own.
Like any puppy, Sebastian will need a family prepared for all the work that comes along with raising a youngster, including continued house training, leash skills, basic manners, and plenty of opportunities to learn and socialize.
We are only considering homes in our local area - 1 hour or less from Arcadia FL. If you have adopted from us before and are slightly out of that area, please contact us directly and we can discuss it. Sebastian still needs to be neutered. All appointments for neuter surgery will be done at our vet's office in Arcadia so you must be willing to bring him to his appointment in order to be considered for adoption.

Poor little Levi came to ARC after being dumped by his owner. He was traumatized after being shoved through a gate into a stranger’s yard, and he’s understandably having a hard time trusting people.
The good news? Levi is slowly coming out of his shell with the staff, and we’re hopeful that with time, patience, and love, he can learn to feel safe again.
Right now, we’re looking for an adult-only home with no other pets. We do not recommend a home with small children at this time, and we’re still learning how Levi does with other dogs and cats.
Levi isn’t looking for a perfect home—he’s looking for someone who will give him the time and patience he needs to heal.

When Jack first meets someone new, he can be shy and unsure. He needs a little time to figure out that you mean him no harm. Once you hold him, give him some gentle pets, and earn his approval, that worried little puppy starts to relax and the real Jack begins to appear.
And the real Jack LOVES to play!
Jack is an active youngster who plays very well with other dogs, including dogs much bigger than he is. He can be a bit of a rough-and-tumble player, so hed love a canine buddy who enjoys his enthusiastic style. An active family or a playful dog companion would be an ideal match for him.
Toys are always welcome, and a good bone to chew can keep Jack happily occupied. He's also comfortable in his crate, is mostly house-trained, and is doing well learning the routines of home life.
