Meet Jeremy.

This handsome two year old Black Mouth Cur was found wandering the
streets, skinny, scared and alone. A kind stranger brought him to
the shelter, we pulled him from there, and we nursed him back to
health.

Now a healthy 55 pounds, Jeremy is happy, affectionate, and ready
for the family who will never let him go. He is good with other
dogs, adores people, and is still unsure about cats. He walks
beautifully on a leash.

He is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, and heartworm
negative.

Jeremy is in Fort Myers, FL.

Sammy is a two-year-old that was turned into rescue from a family that was too busy for a dog. He lived outside most of the time, but he is potty trained. He is also heartworm positive and the rescue will cover his treatments. He has lived with children but has not lived with cats or dogs.

Dallas

Meet Dallas—a 1½-year-old Golden Retriever who is learning that the world can be a safe and wonderful place.

Dallas was rescued by a Good Samaritan after surviving on his own for months. When he was found, his skin was in terrible condition, but with love and care, his fur is beginning to grow back and he is looking more handsome every day.

Nike is a 10 year old that was surrendered by his owners. He is great with dogs and Adult cats and children. We are looking for a quiet home because he needs to undergo heartworm treatment that the rescue will cover. He cannot be neutered until he goes through that. He is full of personality and acts much younger than 10!

He is fostered in Bonita Springs.

Meet Ginger.
Ginger came to ARC from Lee County Domestic Animal Services with a friend. Both arrived malnourished and suffering from flea allergy dermatitis. They had clearly been through a difficult time, but Ginger never let that stop her from showing us just how sweet and loving she could be.
With some much-needed TLC, patience, and lots of love, Ginger has blossomed into an absolutely pawsome girl! She is fun, playful, and full of love to give. Watching her regain her health and her happy spirit has been incredibly rewarding.
Now, Ginger is ready for the part she has been waiting for—a family of her very own. She deserves a loving home where she can continue to thrive, play, and finally know what it feels like to be truly cherished.
Her past may have been difficult, but her future can be filled with love.

Talia has the sweetest disposition, so don't let her big bark and adorable side-eye fool you! Once she gets close to you, her softer side shines through. She'll happily snuggle up beside you and shower you with the sweetest kisses, guaranteed to steal your heart.
Talia is heartworm positive, which means she has a bit of a journey ahead of her. She will need to stay at ARC for the next several months while she completes her treatment and gets ready for a healthy new chapter. But that doesn't mean her future family has to wait to meet her! Potential adopters are welcome to come visit Talia as often as they'd like while she completes her treatment. We would love for her to start building that special bond with her forever family now!

Meet Autumn, a beautiful mama who has spent her time at ARC putting everyone else first.
Autumn came to us from LaBelle Animal Control with her seven precious puppies. She was an incredible mom—loving, devoted, and fiercely protective of her babies. She gave them everything she had, making sure they were safe and cared for until they were old enough to begin their own journeys.
Now, it’s Autumn’s turn.
This sweet girl can be a little shy at first, but give her just a little time and patience, and you’ll see her beautiful personality shine. She absolutely loves going for walks, enjoys being loved on, and would be happiest with a family who will give her the time and reassurance she needs to feel comfortable.
After spending so much of her life caring for her puppies, Autumn deserves someone to care for her.

This handsome guy came to us after being surrendered for adoption due to his owner’s declining health. When Deo arrived, he was in rough shape and understandably a little unsure of people, as it had been some time since he received the love and attention he deserved.
Deo can be a little nervous when it comes to vet visits, but with everyone else, he is the sweetest boy! He loves sitting in your lap, giving kisses, and soaking up attention. He’s also playful and enjoys a good game of fetch—although sometimes he thinks you should be the one fetching the toys!
