Meet Culver! This wonderful little guy is friendly, loving, and ready to be your very best friend. He loves playing fetch and spending time with his favorite people. Culver is a Chihuahua/Beagle mix with the most beautiful, soulful eyes and a heart full of love.According to his foster mom, Culver is housebroken and appears to get along well with other dogs. He would do well with older children, and his compatibility with cats has not yet been determined. His foster mom would prefer a home with a fenced yard where he can safely enjoy his outdoor time and play.Simply put, Culver is a terrific little guy who has so much love to give.

Meet Milo! Milo is a 4-year-old boy looking for a new home where he can have plenty of room to play, explore, and, most importantly, show off his frisbee skills! Milo loves treats, enjoys car rides, and absolutely loves the beach. He’ll even venture into the water up to his shoulders! He also knows several commands, including sit, roll over, and lay down. Although here at the shelter he has just been doing sit and jump Milo is housebroken and kennel trained. He does well for baths and brushing, and he’s even good at the vet! He has a funny little habit of carrying shoes around the house, but don’t worry… he doesn’t chew them.

Henna is a 1.5-year-old, 50 lb sweetheart who loves nothing more than being close to her people. She is extremely affectionate and happiest when she’s cuddled up next to you — she truly wants to be the center of your world. Meet Sandy a 6 year old 33 pound Shepard mix. Sandy was in a kill shelter in Texas with a injured leg, Project Hope pulled her and when we took her to the vet the x-ray showed she had been shot. Her leg had to be amputated. Sandy is all healed up and being a tripod doesn't slow her down. She loves to run around the yard and when time for a nap she will cuddle up on the couch.
Sandy is a little shy and takes a little time to get to know you, but after that she loves to be with you! She gets along with other dogs and would love a playmate. She gets along with cats, but might try to play with them.

This sweet young guy has spent his life so far at the end of a chain. But thankfully, that all changed when he was rescued!

Boots is quickly learning what life inside a home is all about, and he's doing GREAT! He's such a sweet boy who loves everyone he meets and is soaking up all the love and attention he's been missing.

We've already taken care of his vaccinations, deworming, flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and microchip. Now all he needs is a family to call his own!

At 12 years old, Rhee is ready for a new chapter filled with love, cozy naps, leisurely strolls, and a family who will treasure her. She does need to lose a little weight, so we’re helping her get healthier with measured meals and short walks as she gradually builds up her endurance. Slow and steady is the plan for this golden girl! Check out the video of her with her newfound energy playing with the foster dogs in her home.

Who wants to adopt Lua who thinks taking naps are her job?Lua is a 3yo (estimated) Anatolian Shepherd @ 73 lbs who is spayed, UTD on vaccines, fully vetted, and completely housetrained. She has been an absolute joy to have in our family. She is very friendly, quiet (rarely barks), calm, and easy going. She does well in the crate and prefers it when left alone and sometimes when she just wants to chill in it. She loves naps and bedtime and sleeps like it’s her job! She likes chew toys and treats and giving love licks to anyone willing to accept. Lua LOVES toys and plays fetch with herself or anyone wanting to join in.

This Slinky Dog has had a pretty rough start, but we’re hoping the rest of his story looks a whole lot different.Meet Slinky, a sweet 2-year-old boy who arrived at our shelter alongside his two kiddos, Woody and Bo Peep. All three came to us with fleas, scared, and unsure of the world around them. But of the three, poor Slinky was in the worst shape.The fleas had taken quite a toll on his little body, leaving him with significant hair loss. While those pesky fleas are finally gone, Slinky is still working on growing his fur back. His coat might look a little rough around the edges right now, but we think he’s pretty darn handsome anyway.And just like his kids, Slinky is still learning that people can be trusted.

Right now, the world seems a little overwhelming to her, and she’s still trying to figure out who she can trust. But underneath that shy exterior is a sweet girl who just needs someone willing to give her the time, patience, and love she deserves.Unfortunately, she also came to us with an injury on one of her hind legs. She’s not putting much weight on it, and from the looks of things, we’re wondering if she may have spent time tied up. We can’t say for certain what happened.

Meet Prince, a 1-year-old Frenchie mix who is ready to trade life outside for a home of his very own.Prince spent most of his life as an outdoor dog, so living inside and being part of a family will be a new experience for him. He’ll need someone patient and willing to help him adjust, learn a routine, and understand what it means to finally be a house dog. He may not know all the rules yet, but he deserves the chance to learn them.Prince loves his toys… although his version of “loving” them usually involves tearing them apart. Stuffed toys, you’ve been warned.He’ll also need some work on his leash manners.

Meet Berg!Berg is just 1 year old, which means he’s got plenty of puppy energy packed into that body. He’s friendly, outgoing, and always ready for whatever is happening next. Walk? Yes. Playtime? Absolutely. Snacks? You now have his undivided attention.And when we say Berg is food motivated, we mean VERY food motivated. If there’s a treat involved, Berg is suddenly the most dedicated student you’ve ever met. He already knows how to sit and shake, and with his love of snacks, we think he’ll be a lot of fun to continue training.Berg seems to do well with other dogs and would love a home that can keep up with his energy and give him plenty of opportunities to play, explore, and learn.

Meet Blake — a very special boy with an even more special heart. ❤️Blake is an amazing dog. His story may pull at your heartstrings, but one look at his loving, happy face and you would never know all that he has been through.Blake was originally rescued from another shelter after being abandoned in an unoccupied home. When he came to us and had his initial veterinary examination, we discovered that he had a severe heart murmur. After further evaluation, it was determined that Blake would need surgery in order to survive.Blake was referred to a specialized veterinary hospital, where he underwent a Balloon Valvuloplasty to treat his heart condition.

Meet Jax, our handsome 3-year-old boy with a big personality, plenty of energy, and a serious love for belly rubs!Jax is an active guy who is always ready for playtime, walks, and adventures. He loves being around people and soaking up attention, and once the excitement settles down, he’s more than happy to roll over for some belly rubs and cuddles.One major bonus? Jax is completely house trained! He keeps his kennel clean and has had no accidents. He does get excited on walks and can be a strong puller, so he’ll need someone willing to continue working with him on his leash manners. With consistency and training, we think he has so much potential.When it comes to other dogs, Jax would do best with a female dog.
