Meet Dottie!
Dottie may have had a rough start to life, but you’d never know it by meeting her! This sweet girl came to us from DACC with her five puppies, and despite what her past may have looked like, she’s full of love, personality, and fun. ❤️
Her torn-up ear may tell a little story about her past, but Dottie isn’t dwelling on it. She’s too busy enjoying life and making friends! She’s social, fun-loving, and gets along with kids, dogs, and cats. Basically, Dottie is ready to be everyone’s best friend!
Dottie is also working hard toward clearing her heartworm treatment, and she can’t wait for the day when she can put that chapter behind her and focus on her happily-ever-after.
Now all this girl needs is a family to call her own — one that will show her just how wonderful life can be when you’re truly loved.

Meet Domino, our newest resident at the Mikey & Me Kennels for Happy Days Rescue.

Domino is a Border Collie mix, he’s 1-2 years old, he has a beautiful, long-haired coat, and he weighs about 50 pounds. He is a very social and lovable dog that thrives on being with people. Domino is a very: nice dog and he is reportedly good with other dogs and children.

Domino had his first vaccinations on October 14th and will be scheduled for his booster shots and a heart worm test real soon. He will be neutered at a later date, shortly thereafter.

Meet Winnie, one of our newest residents at the Mikey & Me Kennels for Happy Days Rescue.

Winnie is a Rottweiler/Shepherd mix, she’s just 8 months old, she has short hair and a beautiful bicolored coat, and she weighs about 50 pounds. She is a wonderful dog, she doesn’t bark much, she’s good with kids and other dogs, and she walks nicely on leash. Winnie loves spending time in the outside play yard and discovering everything the outdoors has to offer; she appears to be potty trained too.

Meet Oscar, a sweet 10-month-old Cocker Spaniel who was found as a stray and rescued from an local Animal Shelter. He’s up to date on all vaccinations, preventatives, and has completed all blood work. Oscar is playful, loving, and great with other animals. He would do well in a home with or without children, and he’s already housebroken, which is a big plus. He still needs training because he tends to dart out the front door, so a secure fenced backyard is important for him. Oscar has minor allergies and benefits from 2-3 allergy pills twice a day. He’s a happy, energetic pup eager for love, guidance, and the chance to enjoy a safe, happy life.If you think Oscar might be the right fit for your family, we’d love for you to apply and help him find his forever home.

Meet Roman! ❤️
Roman | 3 years old | 115 lbs | Cane Corso
Meet Roman, a big handsome boy with an even bigger heart! ❤️ Born in December 2022, Roman is a 115-pound Cane Corso who absolutely LOVES his people.
Roman is definitely an attached-at-the-hip kind of dog. If his people are around, he wants to be right there with them. He loves being included and is happiest when he can hang out with his favorite humans.
He knows his sit and shake, and he is an absolute rockstar in the car.
Roman can be a little shy when meeting new people and needs some time to warm up. Give him about 30 minutes, though, and you may find this giant boy trying to climb right into your lap! ❤️ Once he knows you, he is incredibly affectionate and loves being close.
He is still working on a few things, too.

Zena is a wonderful young lady. She loves to lay on our couch or bed and receive cuddles and scratches. She's friendly with everyone we've met so far, including other dogs, people, and kids. She does, however, have a strong prey drive and needs some work on leash training. But she does love going for a walk! She also loves our yard and would really benefit from a well-fenced yard and/or an active owner. I bet she'd be a good running companion. The two times she was off leash and out of our yard (unintentionally), she ranged around, sniffing for interesting prey items, but then returned, ecstatic to see us and our backyard.

Meet Pippa – Your Tiny Best Friend!
At just 5 lbs, Pippa is a tiny nugget with a big personality! This sweet little girl was surrendered from a less than ideal situation, but she's quickly learning that love, safety, and cozy naps are what life is all about.
Pippa has settled into a routine like a champ and is discovering that being part of a family is pretty wonderful. While she's still building confidence, she's an independent, playful little lady who loves doing things at her own pace.
She gets along beautifully with other dogs and has been wonderful with children. Pippa is crate trained and absolutely loves her crate—it's her safe, happy place where she can relax and recharge.
She's making great progress with potty training and learning good manners every day.

These three beautiful puppies were born on April 12, 2026, and their journey has already shown just how strong they are. They came into rescue after we were able to save them from a situation where they were being sold. Now, they're getting the chance they deserve—a future filled with love, safety, and kindness.
Right now, these brave little ones are fighting parvovirus, and they are showing us every day what true resilience looks like. They're receiving the care they need, and we're cheering them on as they continue their recovery.
