1. Link
Puppy · Male · Terrier / Mixed · 45 mi from Trail

Hi, I'm Link! I'm a super friendly boy that's going to make the perfect companion. I'm very smart, and will do just about anything for a treat, so I'm a very fast learner. I love affection, do well be handled, and all I want is love! I like to lean into people for affection. I do great with other dogs. I'm such an easy going and well mannered pup, that I would likely do good with cats and kids too. Come meet me!

2. Amelia
Adult · Female · Great Pyrenees / Mixed · 45 mi from Trail

Hi, I'm Amelia! I'm a big girl, with an even bigger amount of love to give to my forever family! Although new to the shelter, staff are already in love with me. I love people (I can be hesitant of men at first, but after a couple moments I'm just fne with them), I love other dogs, and have done well with cats. I do well with kids, but loud and high energy littles can make me uncomfortable. I walk great on the leash, am potty trained, do well in the car (I tend to bark at people approaching the vehicle, but thats just in my breeds nature to protect), and do great with petting, brushing, and cuddles.

In fact, I could be a professional cuddler, but make sure you have a lint roller handy! I know sit, stay, down, off, come, fetch, and shake. Smart girl! With my fur, daily brusing is important to prevent any tangles or mats. I went to The Spot Dog Grooming for a spa day and I did absolutely fantastic. If you're looking for a loyal, loving, and friendly addition to your family, come meet me!

HI, I'm Forrest, and I am absolutely gorgeous! Even though I am only 9 1/2 months old, I am perfectly well behaved, I am well trained, and I am good with cats, kids, and other dogs! I am sure I will be a welcome addition to your family. Come meet me!

4. Troy
Puppy · Male · Terrier / Terrier / Mixed · 45 mi from Trail

Hi, I'm Troy, and I am adorable, as you can see! I am a puppy, so I have sharp shark teeth, I am not potty trained, and there is no way to know how big I will grow to be. I will need to be well-trained and socialized so that I can be a very good boy. I am a very good cuddler, I give good kisses, and I have the very best skunky puppy breath. I can't wait to meet you!

5. Brew
Adult · Male · Terrier / Terrier / Mixed · 45 mi from Trail

Hi, I'm Brew! I'm a happy-go-lucky guy who thinks everyone is my BFF. I love to chase butterflies and grasshoppers, play with toys, explore, run, and be around people. I have done well with other dogs before, but it's recommended I don't go to a home with cats due to my prey drive. I've done well with kids, but I can be jumpy at times. I would love an active home that has an outlet for my energy, or a home that's familiar with hound mixes and understands the needs. Come meet me!

6. Bubbie
Adult · Male · Terrier / Mixed · 45 mi from Trail

Hi, I'm Bubbie! I'm a very friendly guy who loves people. I love playing fetch, going for walks, doing tricks for treats (I know sit, stay, lay down, and shake), and I love balls. An active home would be ideal for me. I lived with other dogs previously and did great since I grew up with them, but I've struggled meeting new dogs at the shelter. My best home is one as the only dog, or a home that's willing to give me long, slow proper intros to other dog friends. I've had better reactions to friendly, submissive dogs. I lived with kids and cats and did well. My previous home said I was potty trained, am a very smart boy, and love to sing with trains and sirens. Come meet me!

Adopting a dog in Trail
Most rescues ask you to fill in an application, meet the dog, and pay an adoption fee that usually covers spaying or neutering, vaccinations and a microchip. Many are foster-based, so you'll often meet your dog in a volunteer's home rather than a shelter.
Puppies go quickly, so if you've fallen for one, contact the rescue soon. Ask how big they're expected to grow, and plan for plenty of house-training and training in the first few months.
