8. Radar
Puppy (10 months) · Male · Husky (medium coat) · 35 mi from Kalispell

Radar is a happy, affectionate young Husky with plenty of personality, puppy energy, and determination. He loves attention, soft beds, exploring, and being part of whatever his people are doing.
Radar’s life changed when he was injured while chasing a deer, affecting the strength and coordination in his hind end. Just a few months ago he was using his back legs normally, so we’re hopeful that with physical therapy, swimming, time, and a lot of hard work, he can continue making progress. He may use a wheelchair during rehab, but it isn’t considered a permanent solution. It’s simply another tool to keep him moving safely while he gets stronger.
Read more about Radar
And if you know Huskies, you know all that energy has to go somewhere! Radar is currently learning that using his mouth during play is not acceptable, even when he thinks it’s great fun. With his mobility temporarily limiting his ability to burn off energy the way a typical young Husky would, he’ll need a patient family willing to continue working on manners and appropriate outlets. Because of this, we feel a home without small children would be the best fit.
Radar is also very interested in smaller animals. Considering his prey drive and the fact that his original injury happened while chasing a deer, he is looking for a home without cats or other small animals.
Through all of this, Radar remains an incredibly happy, goofy young dog who is eager to get moving and enjoy life. He needs a family who understands that his recovery may take some extra work, but who will see the fun, loving dog underneath it all and give him every opportunity to thrive.

9. Mo
Adult · Female · Pointer / Mixed (short coat) · 35 mi from Kalispell

Mo is a sweet, athletic girl looking for a quiet, experienced home where she can finally settle in and thrive. She would do best with one or two adults and no children, cats, chickens, livestock, or other small/pocket pets. Mo is, however, great with other dogs and could be very happy sharing her home with the right canine companion.
Read more about Mo
She absolutely loves getting outside and is a wonderful walking and hiking buddy. When the adventure is over, she’s equally happy curling up for cuddles with her people. Mo can be shy and protective, so she needs an experienced dog owner or someone comfortable giving her the patience, structure, and consistency she needs to feel secure. She is house-trained, crate-trained, leash-trained, microchipped, spayed, and up to date on her vaccinations.
According to her DNA test, Mo is a German Shorthaired Pointer with a little Treeing Walker Coonhound. She’s about 50 pounds and has a beautiful black-and-white coat. Mo is affectionate, quirky, resilient, food-motivated, and incredibly lovable once she feels safe with you. She isn’t the right fit for every home, but in the right home, she has so much potential to be an amazing companion. Her adoption fee is negotiable - the priority is simply finding Mo a safe, loving, committed home where she can stay for good.

10. Nick
Male · Unknown breed (short coat) · 35 mi from Kalispell

Everyone meet our newest foster boy, Nick. He is a 4 month old puppy that was dumped (along with 4 other pups) and found by a good person who helped them.
Nick is the sweetest boy. He just wants to be loved and played with! He's still young so he's working on some behavior issues, but uses the doggy door and kennels up when asked.
He likes treats when he's learning new things. He is a beautiful brindle color with the darkest, sweetest eyes.
Nick is good at staying by your side when going out, but we are working on getting the alligator out of him when on the leash.
Nick is good with kids and other dogs!
