Meet Dottie!
Dottie may have had a rough start to life, but you’d never know it by meeting her! This sweet girl came to us from DACC with her five puppies, and despite what her past may have looked like, she’s full of love, personality, and fun. ❤️
Her torn-up ear may tell a little story about her past, but Dottie isn’t dwelling on it. She’s too busy enjoying life and making friends! She’s social, fun-loving, and gets along with kids, dogs, and cats. Basically, Dottie is ready to be everyone’s best friend!
Dottie is also working hard toward clearing her heartworm treatment, and she can’t wait for the day when she can put that chapter behind her and focus on her happily-ever-after.
Now all this girl needs is a family to call her own — one that will show her just how wonderful life can be when you’re truly loved.

Peanut is a 21 lb, 1.5yr old Doxie mix of playful and cuddly. He is happiest sharing time with his people. Whether he’s snuggling with his foster sister or practicing his leash skills, he’s learning how wonderful life with a loving family can be.

He’s doing very well with leash training, has almost mastered the stairs, and sleeps through the night! He’s great with dogs, cats, men, and women, travels well in the car, and does well at the vet. He has not been tested with children.

Meet Jelly—a little mix of this and that, with a whole lot of love!

Jelly is approximately 7 months old, weighs 20 pounds, and is said to be an Aussie/Doxie mix. His exact recipe may be a mystery, but the sweetness is undeniable!

He loves toys, wrestling with his foster sister, and snuggling up for kisses—which he happily returns. Loud noises can startle him, and being held and reassured helps him feel safe. He’s great with dogs, cats, men, and women, rides well in the car, and does well at the vet.

At 8 years young, Marley is a sweet Yorkie/Pomeranian mix with a lovely disposition and a whole lot of love to give!
Marley adores her people and would be perfectly content being the center of their world. While she would be happy as an only dog, she is also accustomed to living with other dogs and would do well with canine companionship.
Marley is pee pad trained, but don't let that fool you! This little lady absolutely loves spending time outdoors. A secure, fenced yard is a must so she can safely enjoy one of her favorite pastimes.
Marley would be an ideal companion for a retiree or someone who enjoys a quieter lifestyle but still likes to get outside for a nice walk. She is the perfect combination of a loving companion and a little outdoor adventurer.

Meet Milli!
Milli is an adorable 1-year-old Pomeranian/Yorkie/Papillon/Shih Tzu mix with a whole lot of personality packed into one little pup! ❤️
Milli is lovable, active, smart, and eager to learn. She responds very well to training and would love a family who will continue working with her while keeping that busy little brain entertained.

Milli is friendly with children of all ages, but we are recommending a home with children 5 and older for safety reasons. Milli needs a family that will be extremely mindful of exterior doors and entrances.

I'm Agar a big handsome baby of a Block Head Rott, that is 2 and weighs in at 100 pounds. I should need about 10 more lbs, to get to my full weight. I have had a neglected 2 years. I was basically used to make puppies and kept outside. The person had a lot of dogs and sold me to a couple. I was covered in fleas and had lost some of my fur. The second couple kept me outside too. Now I am at the rescue, which I am thankful for. They gave me a good flea med and they died quickly. Then I had a medicated bath. Oh how good that felt. I have been neutered and vetted. I am in a big barn with my own couch and radio.

CAN YOU PUT A SMILE ON MS FREYA'S FACE!Freya here! One ear up and one ear down, I am a scruffy little terrier girl. Life has not been good to me in my 5 years, but things are looking up. I came to the rescue very very thin and anemic from flea infestation. I lost a lot of my beautiful blond hair across my back and tail but it is growing back now that I have good food, baths and a clean bed to sleep in at my foster home.
I was spayed on October 1st and came through that with flying colors. I'm caught up on my vaccinations and have finished my antibiotics for lyme disease disease. I have gained 4 lbs. since my rescue and am looking good.

Hi I’m Prongs! I’m at 7-8 month GSP mix and I’m looking for a home! I’m located in Cincinnati but I can be adopted in Columbus or here! I’m good with other dogs and got rescued with another dog named Padfoot! I have 2 brothers also with PAWS too! I like cats, they’re pretty interesting but I leave them alone once they’ve had enough of me. I’m a shy guy but I love people once I get to know them. I’d do better with older kids or calm younger ones as loud noises and sudden movements scare me. My favorite thing to do is lay in the grass out in the backyard so if you have a fenced in backyard, that would be awesome! But if you don’t that’s alright too! I’m learning to be in a home again as I’ve been a stray and haven’t been taught anything.

Meet Pippa – Your Tiny Best Friend!
At just 5 lbs, Pippa is a tiny nugget with a big personality! This sweet little girl was surrendered from a less than ideal situation, but she's quickly learning that love, safety, and cozy naps are what life is all about.
Pippa has settled into a routine like a champ and is discovering that being part of a family is pretty wonderful. While she's still building confidence, she's an independent, playful little lady who loves doing things at her own pace.
She gets along beautifully with other dogs and has been wonderful with children. Pippa is crate trained and absolutely loves her crate—it's her safe, happy place where she can relax and recharge.
She's making great progress with potty training and learning good manners every day.

Helen is an adorable all natural 5-month-old female Doberman mix puppy who is ready to find her forever family.

Life didn't get off to the best start for Helen and her littermates. They were removed from their home by authorities due to poor living conditions, and the local shelter knew these puppies needed the help of a rescue. Doberman Underground stepped in and give them the chance they deserve.
