Adult (3 years 3 months) · Female · Poodle (Standard) / Labrador Retriever / Mixed (medium coat)

Journey was a stray wandering in Arapaho, OK and somehow traveled several miles to end up in Clinton, OK. A kind lady held her until she could be scanned for a microchip. When we picked her up she was in bad shape with hair matted down to skin. She was so excited to be with someone that cared about her. She is friendly, playful and excitable. We are working through her a minor health issue with her toe but she is doing well. Obedience training is coming along but not there yet. Her age is guess at 3 years old.

Tally is a sweet and funny dog. She was found running down a dirt road in Talaquah with her companion Oakley. They were both in pretty bad shape. With time, good food and care they are ready to find new homes. Taly is a standard Dachshund so a bit bigger than most think a dachshund should be. She is smart and listens pretty well. She is good with other dogs, and seems to ignore cats.

6. Scout
Young (6 months) · Male · Border Collie / McNab / Mixed (medium coat)

Scout was sitting in a small-town outdoor dog pound, set to be euthanized the very next day. Thankfully, we had the space, so we went and picked him up. He was only 3 months old, scared and dirty, but this little guy started showing us how smart he is right away.
On the way to the shelter, one of our volunteers took him to the vet for a checkup. She put a leash on him and he walked perfectly beside her. Calm, brave, and so well-behaved the whole time!
