2. Cody
Meet Cody!! This 30-pound lovable fellow is about 6 months old and is a sweet mix of heeler and maybe a sprinkling of beagle. He keeps himself busy--inside, following the Swiffer is a very popular activity; outside, collecting sticks is a must-do. He loves playing with the resident dogs and exploring the fenced-in yard--after all, leaves are just asking to be pounced on and plants that haven't been cut back yet are perfect places for afternoon naps. He enjoys his walks around the neighborhood and seeing birds of all sizes adds to the fun. He loves snuggling on a favorite lounge chair--as long as a foster family member provides a warm lap and blanket--plus the gentle rocking brings the final dose of comfy and eyes closed.

Meet Dandy! This 10 month old Shepherd / Lab mix weighs 40-45 lbs and is as sweet as they come. She may be as sweet as they come. She may be a little shy at first, but she warms up quickly and will absolutely melt your heart. Dandy just wants to please her people, and with her loving personality, intelligence, and eagerness to learn she's been a joy to foster! Dandy is the kind of dog who will make you smile everyday. She's smart, affectionate, adventurous, and eager to be someone's very best friend. All she needs now is a family to love her as much as she'll love them!

4. Gunner
Looking for a foster and / or adopter.
Gunner is a 5 year old scruffy terrier / hound mix who weighs just under 50 lbs. Gunner landed in the shelter after having a home so he already has the hang of a number of things, Sadly, his owner fell ill and had to be hospitalized indefinitely.

Gunner enjoys riding in the car and going for walks! He likes to follow his nose so he pulls some with just a collar, but is quite manageable with a chest-leading harness. This guy does not like crates but that is not an issue because he is already house trained. Gunner is comfortable in a home and has no issues exploring all floors of the house, so steps are not a problem. He is a cuddly guy who enjoys a dog bed and the opportunity to cuddle with people on the couch,
Gunner was an only dog but has been friendly to other dogs in the shelter and foster home. He could go with or without a dog companion. We do not have information on Gunner and cats. We would recommend Gunner be in a home more on the quiet side since that's what he was used to (no little kiddos)

Haven is an adorable chihuahua/min pin mix.
She is estimated to be 5 to 6 years old and 10 pounds, but no one gave her that memo.
She's got lots of personality in that little body. If you are looking for a fun little companion, Haven is your girl!
Haven is the perfect mix of playful and cuddly and seems to love everyone she meets. She will be a great companion as an only dog or with another playful pup. Haven has been fine with the cats in her foster home. Haven is ready to find her new snuggle buddy.

Introducing Lola! A sweet and compact girl who is 1 year old, 38lbs, black and tan and has a nubby tail. This lovely and smart lady is house, potty and crate trained. She is also leash trained. Lola even knows basic commands, sit, stay, treat etc.
Lola has plenty of energy, consistent with her age, but LOVES to snuggle with her human. She has a little bit of velcro dog in her. Lola extremely well with her younger foster siblings while respecting space for the older dogs. She has not been around children much but has done well.

Lola would love a deck or a back yard to lounge and run around. She would do fantastic as a younger sibling to an established dog or two. A dog pal in her forever home is a must since she is happiest in the company of other dogs.

Good things don't ALWAYS come in small packages. Meet Odie, a 69 pound yellow lab/ hound mix who sports white leggings and an ever-wagging tail. Just like Garfield's doggy buddy in the comic strip, this Odie is super loveable, good natured, friendly, silly, loyal, fun-loving, and sometimes a bit goofy. At just shy of 2 years old, he is quite an athlete--is that Odie standing on top to the picnic table?? In his quieter moments, Odie is a sun-worshipper who enjoys bird and squirrel watching while relaxing outside and TRIES to be a lap dog inside.
Having him close by in the yard helps his foster mom's weeding chores seem pleasant--well, almost!

His foster family laughs when Odie is in the kitchen and he stares out the window--they just aren't quite sure what is grabbing his attention! Odie is house-and crate-trained, micro-chipped, neutered, and up-to-date on all his vaccinations. He gets along with all the other dogs who live with his foster family--especially the other foster dog Danny who is a favorite playmate. Odie's bags are packed (yep--with an Eagles logo) and he is ready to settle in with a forever family who can't wait to spend fall with a new buddy.
