Meet this precious girl ROXY!! At 9 years young, she has so much love left to give. She’s a gentle, sweet soul who is a little afraid of the big world around her. In fact, she’s so timid that even her own shadow can be a little scary!

But here’s the beautiful thing about her… with a little patience, kindness, and love, she’s beginning to blossom!

She has been in foster care for about three weeks, and every day she’s showing a little more of her personality. She’s even starting to come out of her shell and initiate play with my dogs! Watching her confidence grow has been such a joy.

is a sweet natured male, yellow lab mix. He was surrendered to a kind lady when his owners not only ignored his in the backyard, but also abused him. She knew one look into his caramel eyes that he needed to be loved and a new family found who would appreciate how wonderful he was. He is neutered, current on his shots, heartworm negative, crate trained and housetrained. He is kind hearted, incredibly obedient and loves spending time with people. Jason is kind of a special case.

He's been living in a cramped back yard with SIX other great pyrs.

As you can imagine, quarters are tight and these dogs don't get much individual attention. It's not a healthy situation for these dogs. But, Jason is young and while he's very shy and in need of a kind soul to help build his confidence, he's also super sweet and gentle.

Jason is getting accustomed to some of the regulars of being a dog, like learning how to walk on a leash, so he has a lot to learn, but he likes to please

He has a wonderful, calm personality and gets along beautifully with dogs, cats, and people. He’s an easygoing guy who enjoys going for walks, taking car rides, and simply relaxing with his people.

Dorothy, our Golden Girl, is a complete sweetheart! She was originally found in a drainage ditch in Ft. Smith, AR, and when no owner came forward to claim her, she joined our Foster Gang in Texas.

Dorothy is an older lady, and as such, her sight and hearing are not 100%, but she is full of life and has a terrific attitude - unless you try to wipe her face, which is NOT her favorite thing, and she'll let you know it.

Dobby is a young Terrier mix with an incredible story of resilience. At just four months old, he was thrown from a moving car on an Oklahoma highway. It was uncertain whether he would survive, but Dobby proved just how strong and determined he is. Today, he’s healthy, happy, and ready to find the forever family he deserves.

This fun-loving boy has plenty of energy and would thrive in a home with a yard and a family that will keep both his body and mind engaged. Whether it’s hiking, playing fetch, learning new tricks, or going on adventures, Dobby is always ready to join in.

Rosie’s life has not been easy.
Her family left her at a shelter, and for 14 long months, Rosie waited behind those kennel doors. Day after day, people walked past her. More than a year went by, and nobody gave her a chance.
Finally, Trinity Gap Rescue said, “Enough.” Rosie was pulled from the shelter and is now safe in a foster home. ❤️
But foster care is only the beginning of her new life. Rosie still needs a family of her very own.
Rosie is 7 years old, about 50 pounds, fully vetted, spayed and a Shepherd mix.
She is an incredibly sweet girl who craves human love and attention.

Introducing Willow - a sweet little boxer mix from West Dallas. Willow had been observed chained in the yard with no shade or water several times and we wanted to intervene, but couldn't, other than to call the authorities. A short time later, Willow's owner lost their home and surrendered Willow to Angie's Friends, after all! What a lucky day for Willow . . . This sweet pup looks like she's a Boxer mix and she has a lot of boxer mannerisms. She's all puppy - full of energy and ready to play! Let us know if you'd like to meet Willow in person!

Coco is a beautiful Boston Terrier (possibly a mix) with a loving heart and a zest for life that's impossible to resist. At approximately 3 years old, she's the perfect blend of playful energy and affectionate cuddles.

Coco's story began with heartbreak. After her beloved owner suddenly passed away, she was surrendered to a high-kill shelter by family members who didn't keep her. Through no fault of her own, Coco found herself scared, confused, and in danger of losing everything she had ever known.

Thankfully, American Boston Terrier Rescue & Rehabilitation stepped in to give her a second chance.

Dallas is a red and white older gentleman who is very low-key and gets along with everyone. He is both blind and mostly deaf, and he loves his naps and gentle tummy rubs. While he does have sight and hearing impairments, he's a healthy guy who would love a soft bed to snooze on and a dependable routine, so he knows when to expect his meals. More info coming soon!
