Meet Cookie!

3-Year-Old Female

Cookie came to the shelter emaciated and appearing to have recently had a litter of puppies. Despite everything she has been through, this sweet girl has continued to show that she is willing to trust people.

Cookie doesn’t show her best self while in her kennel, so please ask to meet her outside of her kennel. That’s where you can really see the sweet girl she is.

Meet Bebe!

Bebe is a beautiful 2-year-old Lab mix who is ready to find her forever family!

She absolutely loves attention and would happily soak up all the love you’re willing to give. She also loves going for walks and is very treat motivated—just say “treat” and you’ll have her attention!

Bebe already knows sit and down, and she’s eager to learn more with someone who will continue working with her.

She would do best with older children who understand how to treat a dog properly.

Hope was previously at Garland Animal Shelter, where she had been waiting since June 2025 and became the shelter’s longest resident. She was recently transferred to Richardson Animal Shelter in hopes that a new environment would give her more visibility and finally help her find her forever family.

Hope is 7 years old and such a gentle, sweet girl. ❤️ She takes treats so gently, LOVES squeaky toys, and gets the absolute cutest zoomies when she’s excited! She is also non-reactive to other dogs and has such an easygoing personality.

Walks well on leash. Sweet and gentle. He is a bit nervous in the shelter environment. He likes to lean into his people for comfort.

Simon thrives on companionship and would love a family who includes him in their everyday adventures. He has lived with cats, is crate trained, and is making great progress with house training. A little consistency should have him mastering the routine! Older, respectful children are preferred.

Meet Maverick! Big personality, classic bulldog charm, and plenty of love to give! Maverick is a handsome 4-year-old, 64-pound male American/English Bulldog mix currently enjoying foster care while searching for his forever family. This clever boy is housebroken, crate trained, and knows several commands. He's food motivated, especially by his favorite treats, bananas and apples! Maverick does well with other dogs and could enjoy a compatible canine companion. His ideal family is experienced with larger dogs and can provide consistent guidance, a secure environment, and a loving, adults-only home without children.

Found wandering in Rockwall County, Bixby arrived with a leg injury, but he's receiving antibiotics and making encouraging progress toward healing. Now, he's hoping to find a family who will make his next chapter something special! Bixby needs a loving indoor home, a sturdy 8-foot fenced backyard, and a family who will make outdoor time a shared activity rather than leaving him outside on his own. His ideal adopters will provide patience, security, and continued care as he recovers.

Coal is an approximately 10-week-old male Labrador Retriever mix weighing 20 pounds. Found near Poetry Road and Vitex Drive in Rockwall County on 10/25/26, Coal was never reclaimed and is now hoping for a fresh start. From learning his first commands to discovering the joys of family life, Coal has so many exciting milestones ahead! He needs a loving, committed family ready to embrace puppyhood with patience, potty training, positive reinforcement, socialization, and plenty of playtime.
