Carolina needs a home with a fenced yard (no exceptions). She also needs a home with another confident dog. She didnt have the best start in life, so she needs someone with a little patience. She is very smart and eager to learn. She loves to play and wrestle with the other dogs in her foster home. Adopter must live in the Hampton Roads area. We prefer a home with no small children. There are additional requirements for active duty military.

Kobe is a sweet, loving boy. He loves dogs, so he needs a home with another dog friend or two. He also loves cats. Kobe would prefer a fenced yard, so he can run a few zoomie laps. Adopters must live in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia (Coastal Virginia).

Raven was surrendered to a county shelter. She is extremely scared and barks at everyone until she learns to trust. She needs a lap to feel safe and someone to love and protect her. The woman who surrendered her just handed her over and told the tech that Raven was their problem now. We have only had her for 4 days and she is learning to trust. Her current foster just informed us that she can't foster any longer because she had health issues and wasn't able to care for Raven any longer. She needs a quiet family with no children and one who understands that everyone is a giant to her and will give her time to trust. She is a sweet little girl once you get to that point. Sage found herself at a local animal control as a stray. She was severely underweight & has been chowing down every meal since we took her into rescue! She is 4 or 5 months old & just a sweet baby angel!!!! She is brave on walks & likes meeting new people. Frankie is an 8.9 year old fawn female pug. She is doing great with the pugs in her foster home. She is fine as an only pug or with other dogs. She has no experience with cats. Frankie has dry eye syndrome and pigmentary keratitis so she will need prescription eye drops twice a day for life. She does have limited vision because of this but get along great. She also has a chicken allergy and is doing great on the fish based dog food.
Frankie is spayed, microchipped, up to date on routine shots, heartworm negative and on prevention.

Introducing Otto, the perfect pup! Weighing in at just 20 pounds and about 5 years old, Otto is looking for a home that is active, fun and loves to play. He is great with male and female adults, all aged kids, all sized dogs, and even cats. Otto is crate trained, house trained, and has learned how to be a snuggly indoor beagle boy, with no bad habits. Otto did not have the best start in life, so he looks a little older than he is, but he has plenty of spunk and loves to go hard, (but then go home to nap!!). Jaxson is a petite 45-pound, 6-year-old guy with a calm, easygoing personality. But every now and then, the sillies come out. He’ll roll onto his back, chomp at the air, and make the most ridiculous little gremlin noises.
His favorite things include snuggling, going for walks, chewing on bones, riding in the car, meeting people, snuggling, and, of course, more snuggling.

Soren was a stray picked up by the local animal control, so we know nothing about his prior life or lack thereof but we can take a guess. Soren came to us fur stained with urine and it was apparent that he had lived his life in a crate that was likely just big enough for him to lay down in. Since coming to us Soren has been fully vetted, microchipped, neutered, and is HW-. Soren is an energetic pup who's always looking for his next adventure. Soren is crate trained and has had no accidents in the crate. Soren becomes so excited when he sees you that sometimes he pees on your leg by accident (ask our volunteers how they know), this is easily corrected with a belly band. Soren was dog tested and did fine, although sometimes he's a little too excited to meet dog friends that we suggest a friend who has similar energy. Soren has not been cat tested. Soren is very photogenic and loves being the center of attention, but is also content being in the background. Soren is the perfect suburbian sized Pitbull, not too big and not too small. Soren knows the basic command of sit, and is actively willing to learn more commands as long as the cookies are free flowing.
