1. Osa

Young · Male · Irish Setter / Poodle (unknown type) / Mixed

Meet Osa, a lovable 8-month-old Irish Doodle weighing in at about 50 lbs! This curious, happy-go-lucky boy approaches the world with an open heart and a wagging tail, eager to explore every new sight, sound, and smell. Osa is wonderfully resilient, bouncing back from new experiences with an easygoing confidence that makes him a joy to be around. He is already a total pro on a leash, making daily walks a breeze, and we are making great progress on house-training and crate training with him. Osa adores other dogs and would truly thrive in a home with a canine buddy to play and wrestle with. He has also been exposed to cats and is learning to respect their boundaries, so a patient feline friend could be a possibility with continued guidance.

Read more about Osa

Because he is still a big, bouncy puppy, he would do best with kids over the age of 5 who are sturdy enough not to be easily knocked over by his enthusiasm. Osa does have some separation anxiety, so he is looking for attentive owners who can help him build confidence when he is on his own. A furry sibling for company, a consistent routine, and plenty of patience will go a long way in helping him feel safe and secure. As a young dog, Osa will flourish with continued positive training and lots of love. If you are looking for a curious, cuddly, and resilient pup to grow alongside your family, Osa is ready to meet you and steal your heart!Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $200. Adult · Female · Chihuahua / Pug / Mixed

Meet Sugar! Sugar is an 8-year-old Pug/Chihuahua mix weighing about 25 pounds, and she's a little sweetheart who just needs someone willing to let her blossom at her own pace. Sugar is a shy girl who takes time to warm up to new people, but once she feels safe, she'll become your little shadow and a loyal companion.Sugar is happiest lounging on the couch with her favorite people. She's a low-energy girl who doesn't ask for much beyond a cozy spot, some companionship, and plenty of snuggles. Read more about Sugar

She can be startled by unfamiliar noises and may bark at visitors, but she'll generally keep her distance until she feels comfortable. Because of her timid nature, a home with young children probably isn't the best fit.One thing to know about Sugar is that the outside world can be intimidating. She's nervous on a leash and will need a patient adopter willing to help her build confidence through gentle, positive experiences. She's treat-motivated, which should help with continued training and encouragement.Sugar has had a big change in her life after spending four years in a home, and she's understandably feeling a little uncertain. But even when she's scared, she continues to show that she wants to trust people. Once she does, you'll discover her adorable little prance when she's excited and her sweet habit of gently reaching out with a paw when you stop petting her, as if to say, "Excuse me, I'm not finished!"Sugar is looking for a quiet, mellow home with a patient person who understands that love and trust sometimes take a little time. In return, she'll give you a devoted little shadow and a whole lot of love. ❤️Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. 13. Fledermaus

Adult · Male · French Bulldog

Meet Fledermaus! A Little Frenchie with a Big Presence ❤️Fledermaus is a 4.5-year-old, 19-pound French Bulldog with a sweet personality, a funny little face, and a whole lot of love to give. He enjoys naps, treats, leisurely strolls around the yard, and rubbing up against his favorite people for affection. He also has a way of staring right into your soul that is equal parts hilarious and adorable!Fledermaus is looking for a special home with someone who understands that, like many French Bulldogs, he has some ongoing health needs. He takes daily medications, eats prescription food, and requires regular veterinary care to keep him comfortable and healthy.

Read more about Fledermaus

His adopter should be prepared for continued vet visits, consistent daily care, and the possibility that his needs may change over time.Fledermaus has had surgery to open his nasal passages but remains prone to sinus infections. He also has urinary crystals that require lifelong prescription food and monitoring, an enlarged heart managed with daily medication, and chronic eye problems that require daily eye drops. He has some vision loss, along with a head tilt and occasional moments of seeming to space out that may indicate a neurological issue. His future family will need to stay on top of his care and work with their veterinarian to address any new concerns.Personality-wise, Fledermaus is a pretty easygoing little dude. He warms up quickly to people but generally prefers to observe new visitors rather than make a big fuss. He's quiet, does well in a crate, rides nicely in the car, and enjoys a low-key lifestyle. Walks are leisurely affairs, and sometimes he decides he'd rather not go any farther! House training has been a challenge, so his adopter will need patience and a plan for helping him with consistent potty routines. He generally gets along well with other dogs. Sometimes he'll engage in a little wrestling session, but most of the time he's happy to do his own thing. He could live with other dogs or be an only pet. He would ignore cats, too. Fledermaus gets overly excited about treats and may bite when trying to grab food from people's hands, even when no treat is present. For this reason, he is not recommended for a home with children.Fledermaus would thrive in a calm, predictable home with an adopter who has experience with dogs requiring medical care and in particular, brachycephalic dogs and is prepared to manage his ongoing medical care. He needs someone who will keep up with his daily treatments, recognize when something seems off, and make his comfort and well-being a priority. In return, you'll get a funny, affectionate little companion who loves being near his people, enjoys the simple things in life, and will happily make you laugh with his expressions and quirky noises.Fledermaus isn't asking for a perfect home. He's asking for a committed one. If you have the experience, patience, and resources to give this special little Frenchie the care he needs, he may be the perfect match for you!Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. 14. Bella

Puppy · Female · Australian Shepherd / Mixed

Meet Bella! ❤️Bella is a 18-week-old Australian Shepherd/working breed mix who currently weighs 25 lbs. She’ll likely be a medium-sized dog, around 35–40 lbs when full grown, though that’s just an estimate. She’s a sweet, energetic puppy who loves everyone she meets and is always ready for pets, playtime, and cuddles. Just be prepared for a little kitchen helper who may try to put her paws on the counters!Bella would love a home with another playful dog or a family ready to keep her busy with plenty of activities, exercise, and mental stimulation. She enjoys playing with dogs her size but can feel intimidated by bigger dogs.

Read more about Bella

A fenced yard would be ideal, though apartment life could work with consistent leash training and enough exercise. She’s still building her confidence and learning the ropes of being a dog. When something feels new or scary, she likes to tuck herself between your legs for reassurance. She’s learning to walk on a leash and becoming more independent as she gains confidence. With patience, positive reinforcement, and continued training, she has the potential to become a wonderful adventure buddy!Like any puppy, Bella is still working on her manners. She’s nearly through the teething stage and needs guidance toward appropriate chew toys instead of people. She enjoys both soft and hard things to chew, and she’s recently discovered how fun balls can be! She’s even learning to bring them back. The good news? Bella is picking up house training quickly and is already about 98% there! She may still have an occasional accident if left unsupervised too long, so she’ll need frequent potty breaks and supervision as she continues learning. She does well in her crate when you leave the house and will sleep in it through the night, letting you know if she needs to go outside. Of course, she’d much rather snuggle up with you, even if that means sleeping right on top of you at first!Bella is a bit of a Velcro puppy who loves being close to her people, but she’s also learning to explore the world on her own. She has the perfect combination of playful energy and serious snuggle-bug potential. Her experience with children is unknown.Bella is looking for someone who will help her grow into the confident, well-mannered dog she’s meant to be. Adult · Female · Chihuahua / Mixed

Meet Shay! Inside the house, I am an absolute dream — a sweet, loving, and fun 2-year-old, 12-lb Chihuahua who is ready to find my forever family! I used to be called Shadow because I love to stick right by your side. In fact, my favorite thing in the world is to sleep right next to you on a pillow or cuddle in your lap for some TV time! I am also a secret athlete—if you throw a soft plushy toy, I will happily retrieve it for you and I frequently get the zoomies.I get along with other dogs and cats, once I've had time to settle in and feel comfortable. At first, I can be nervous and a little snappy until I know they are friends not foe.

Every tiny noise makes me look over my shoulder, so I am still working hard on my outdoor potty training. Because the outside world intimidates me, I need a patient adopter who understands the 3-3-3 rule of dog rescue. I don't love to be left alone for long and will cry when left, so a home without shared walls would be best. With a predictable routine, a furry sibling to show me the ropes, and a little time to decompress, I know my confidence will bloom! If you are looking for a loyal, plushy-retrieving shadow to keep you company, I’m ready to meet you!Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. 17. Wink

Young · Female · Chihuahua / Mixed

Hi, I'm Wink! I'm a one-year-old pup, and I'm ready to find my forever home. I'm goofy, energetic, lovable, and full of personality—with a busy little nose that is always on the hunt for snacks! My kind of company: I absolutely love other dogs and would thrive in a home with a friendly canine companion. Cats and other small, furry critters, however, aren't for me. A little about my personality: I'm shy with new people and need time to feel safe. Patience, gentle interactions, and positive reinforcement are essential. I'm worth getting to know, but I need a family willing to let me settle in at my own pace.

Read more about Wink

I'm a smart cookie! I'm learning basic commands, walking nicely on a leash, and am housebroken. I'm very food motivated, so snuffle mats, puzzle toys, and lick mats keep my clever brain busy. Let's go adventuring! I enjoy long walks, dog parks, and hikes. I also love bones, crinkle toys, and disassembling furry toys. Every girl needs a hobby!️ Snuggles are my specialty. After bursts of puppy energy, I love lounging on comfy furniture, snoozing while you read or watch TV, and inviting myself onto your bed. My ideal home: I prefer hanging out with my people. I need companionship, exercise, enrichment, and appropriate chew toys. I can get into mischief when bored, and shoes left lying around are fair game in my puppy brain. I wouldn't do well if left alone all day.I'm recently spayed, thriving on fresh dog food, and awaiting my Embark DNA results. Stay tuned! I’m 21 pounds and 15” to the withers. Could you be my person? I'm looking for a patient, dog-savvy family with time to help me build confidence. I may not be an instant social butterfly, but with kindness, consistency, and time, I have so much potential. If you appreciate a quirky little adventure buddy who doubles as a couch snuggler, I might just be your girl!Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. 18. Jasper

Young · Male · Shepherd / Mixed

Meet Jasper! Your 40-Pound Lap Dog in a German Shepherd Package Jasper is a 1-year-old German Shepherd mix weighing about 40 pounds, with a big personality and an even bigger love for cuddles! This sweet boy is convinced he’s a lap dog, and if you sit down to watch TV, don’t be surprised when he jumps up to snuggle. Kisses, belly rubs, bedtime cuddles, and being held close are all at the top of his favorite-things list!Jasper also has a playful side. He loves playing fetch, going for walks, playing with other dogs, and working on puzzles and enrichment games. He’s a smart boy who is eager to learn and already knows “sit.” He’s making great progress with his name recognition and potty training, too!Jasper is still learning the ropes when it comes to being a well-mannered housemate.

Read more about Jasper

He’s working on house training and crate training, and he may bark or whine when he’s nervous in his crate, but he settles down after a few minutes. He can also be a bit mouthy with clothes and strings, so continued training and supervision will help him learn what’s okay to chew. He does reasonably well on a leash and rides well in the car when secured with a seat belt, although he may try to climb into your lap for extra attention!Jasper warms up to people quickly, even if he initially barks at strangers. He gets along with other dogs when properly introduced, but his enthusiasm can get the best of him during playtime. He’ll need a family willing to help him learn boundaries, recognize when it’s time for a break, and continue building his social skills. His compatibility with cats and children is currently unknown. This energetic, affectionate boy would love an active home that can provide about 1–2 hours of exercise daily, plenty of enrichment, and lots of opportunities to play and learn. A fenced yard would be a bonus, though an apartment could work with enough exercise and long walks.Jasper is still a young dog figuring out how to be his best self. He’ll need a family with patience, consistency, and a willingness to continue his training—but in return, you’ll get a devoted cuddle bug who wants nothing more than to be part of your world.Think you have room on your lap for Jasper? He’s ready to find a family who will help him grow into the amazing companion he’s meant to be! ❤️Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. 20. Charlotte

Senior · Female · Rottweiler / Mixed

Charlotte is a beautiful senior girl with a gentle soul and so much love left to give. Believed to be between 8 and 10 years old, this sweet reservation dog has lived a difficult life, but she hasn't let that diminish her incredible capacity to love. While we aren't sure of Charlotte's breed, she certainly has the striking looks of a Rottweiler mix. More importantly, she has the kind of loyal heart that makes once-in-a-lifetime companions.Charlotte is house-trained, crate-trained, and happiest when she's right by her person's side. She's the definition of a velcro dog—if you're home, she'll be with you.

Read more about Charlotte

She'll happily follow you from room to room, patiently wait outside the door while you're busy, and be ready to curl up beside you the moment you sit down. Charlotte does have some mobility issues affecting her back legs, but she has responded wonderfully to consistent pain medication and continues to enjoy life. She will likely need pain medication for the rest of her life to keep her comfortable. Because of her mobility limitations, Charlotte is looking for a home that can accommodate her needs. She must have a home with no stairs—a couple of steps to get in and out of the house are manageable, but a full flight of stairs is not. A securely fenced backyard is also important, as long walks can be difficult for her.Charlotte gets along well with submissive dogs but would not be a good fit with another dominant personality. She would also do best in a home without cats. More than anything, she's looking for a calm, peaceful home where she can spend her days soaking up love and returning it tenfold.Charlotte may be entering her senior years, but she still has so much to offer. Her soulful eyes have a way of melting hearts, and her quiet devotion is something truly special. She isn't looking for grand adventures—she's looking for someone to love completely, someone who will cherish her through her golden years just as faithfully as she'll cherish them.If you're searching for a loyal best friend who will be happiest simply by your side, Charlotte is waiting to meet you.Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. 21. Astrid

Adult · Female · Border Collie

Astrid is a beautiful Border Collie mix with an incredible spirit and a story that speaks to just how resilient a dog can be. At around 2 years old, this sweet girl has overcome more in her short life than most dogs ever will. For the first year of her life, Astrid survived on her own as a feral dog on the reservation. During that time, she contracted distemper—a disease that many dogs don't survive. Against the odds, Astrid pulled through. She was later humanely trapped and brought into rescue, where she has spent the last year learning that people can be kind and that life can be safe.Today, Astrid is a loving, affectionate dog who enjoys meeting new people and soaking up attention.

Read more about Astrid

She adores cuddles, has eyes that will melt your heart, and has a gentle sweetness that is impossible to forget. As a result of surviving distemper, Astrid has a permanent neurological tic that causes her head and body to bob up and down. The good news? It doesn't slow her down or keep her from enjoying life. She's happy, playful, and otherwise thriving. Because distemper survivors are relatively uncommon, it's difficult to predict what her long-term medical future may look like. Right now, she is healthy and doing wonderfully, but her family should be prepared for the possibility of unexpected medical needs related to her past illness. Her constant tic has also caused significant wear on her teeth, so she may require more dental care than most dogs her age.Astrid is house-trained and crate-trained, but she is still working through some fears from her past. Walking on a leash remains very challenging for her—she may freeze and "pancake" on the ground or try to bolt when she feels overwhelmed. Car rides are also difficult, and she does best when crated. She will need a patient, understanding family that is willing to let her continue building confidence at her own pace without rushing her. Because of her leash challenges, a securely fenced yard is an absolute requirement so she can safely exercise and enjoy the outdoors.Astrid loves having canine companions and would do best in a home with another friendly dog. She does like to be in charge, however, and is not a good match for other dominant female dogs. She is also a little too enthusiastic about cats and would do best in a cat-free home.Astrid is the definition of resilience. After everything she's endured, she has chosen to trust, to love, and to embrace the life she was finally given. She isn't looking for a perfect family—just one that will be patient, understanding, and willing to celebrate every step of her journey. In return, she'll offer unwavering loyalty, endless affection, and the kind of bond that only comes from a dog who truly knows what it means to be given a second chance.Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $200. 22. Agnes

Adult · Female · Cattle Dog / Mixed

Meet Agnes, an approximately 8-year-old Australian Cattle Dog mix weighing around 35 pounds. This beautiful girl has a gentle soul and is ready to find the loving home she's always deserved. After being found as a stray at a local shelter, Agnes came into rescue, where she was spayed and had several mammary tumors removed. Thankfully, the biopsies came back benign, and she's now healthy and ready for her next chapter.Agnes is a little shy at first and needs time to settle into new surroundings, but once she feels safe, her affectionate personality shines. She's a true Velcro dog who loves being close to her people, following them from room to room, gently asking for cuddles, and giving the sweetest kisses. She is completely house-trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and is crate-trained, although she prefers not to be confined.

Read more about Agnes

She enjoys lounging on her trampoline bed, soaking up the sunshine, and would love a securely fenced yard where she can explore at her own pace. Agnes still has plenty of energy and would enjoy daily walks or hikes with her family.Agnes gets along with other dogs but appreciates slow introductions while she builds confidence. She has been cat-tested and couldn't care less about cats. Because she can be timid, she'd do best in a home with older children or adults only. Her ideal family will be home much of the day and willing to give her the patience, love, and reassurance she needs to continue blossoming.Agnes is a truly kind dog without a mean bone in her body. If you're looking for a loyal, gentle companion who will happily be by your side through life's everyday moments, Agnes is waiting to meet you.Templin Family Brewing is helping make Agnes’ next chapter her happiest one yet!Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
