Special Adoption Considerations: Puppies under 6 months of age need to have multiple potty breaks/exercise throughout the day. Potential adopters with a standard 8-hour workday must be willing to make arrangements to meet the needs of their puppy.

Dogs from Puerto Rico have a major transition to go through when they arrive and will need humans who are very committed to socialization. We think this pup would do best with either a resident dog or a family who can make sure they can go on walks regularly with other dogs, visit the dog park, or go to doggie daycare to learn the ropes.
Bambino is Looking For: His forever home! This sweet boy flew all the way from Puerto Rico to the DC area, because he knew he would find his forever home here. He'd like to request lots of playtime and walks, and he'd love the chance to play with other dogs as much as possible. He'd also love to go to a training class or two so he can show you how smart he is.
What My Foster Says About Me: Bambino is the sweetest, friendliest little guy and loves being around people.
He’s already settling into a great routine at home. Bambino happily goes into his playpen when it’s time for a nap or bedtime, and he’s sleeping through the night with just one potty break.
Bambino has the cutest puppy zoomies and loves bouncing around the backyard, but he always comes running back for some belly rubs and snuggles. He’s been playing really well with our high-energy resident dog and has also met our cats and been respectful of them.
Puppy Vetting Requirements: Lucky Puppies have had their age appropriate vaccines, but may not yet be “fully” vaccinated. It is the adopter’s responsibility to ensure that the remaining puppy vaccines are given at the appropriate time. Please also keep in mind that, until your puppy is fully vaccinated, they are at greater risk for illness than an adult dog.
Your new puppy will need to work on their house training and will also need to go to obedience school so they can grow into a well-socialized dog!

TO ADOPT BAMBINO: The adoption fee for this dog is $485, which includes the cost of routine vetting, vaccinations, transport from the shelter, and his neuter. If you are interested in adopting, please complete the Adoption Questionnaire online at bit.ly/adoptaluckydog .

Lucky Dog Animal Rescue does our best to provide accurate information about the dogs we have for adoption. That said, we cannot make any guarantees about age, breed or temperament. Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training.
