Meet Bennett!

If you’re looking for a puppy who is equal parts adventurer, goofball, cuddle bug, and professional people-watcher, then you definitely need to meet Bennett!

Bennett is the biggest of Darcy’s puppies, but he still has plenty of puppy mischief packed into that adorable body! He is confident, curious, and always ready to see what’s happening next. Nothing gets past this boy! If the resident dog is headed somewhere, Bennett is right behind them. If his people are doing something interesting, you can bet Bennett is nearby, carefully supervising. And if his siblings are playing? Well… he certainly isn’t going to miss out on that!

This sweet boy is a natural little explorer. He loves checking out his surroundings, investigating new things, and following the action wherever it may lead. He’s the kind of puppy who seems to think every corner, toy, person, and dog is part of his next big adventure.

Bennett is also so smart! He’s constantly watching and learning from the people and dogs around him. You can almost see the wheels turning in his head as he figures things out. Of course, sometimes that intelligence gets put to use for a little puppy mischief! He loves to goof off with his siblings, stir up a little fun, and make sure everyone is having as good a time as he is.

And then there’s Bennett’s absolutely irresistible way of showing affection. ❤️ He will look at you with those sweet puppy eyes and give you the most longing, soulful stare, as if he’s trying to tell you all about how much he loves you. One look from Bennett and you’ll probably find yourself saying, “Okay, buddy… you can stay right here with me forever.”

He loves his people and wants to know what they’re doing at all times. Cooking dinner? Bennett is watching. Walking across the room? Bennett is following. Doing something he doesn’t understand? Bennett is probably sitting nearby trying to figure it out. He is happiest when he can be part of the family action.

Bennett also loves his playtime! He enjoys romping around with his siblings, chasing after dogs, and having fun with kiddos. He has that classic happy, goofy puppy energy that makes everything into a game. One minute he may be racing around like he has somewhere very important to be, and the next he’s ready to plop down and soak up some attention.

This handsome boy is curious, clever, affectionate, playful, mischievous, and wonderfully goofy. He has a big personality to match his size and a huge heart to match it all. Whether he’s exploring, playing, following his favorite dog friend, supervising his humans, or gazing lovingly into your eyes, Bennett is always making himself part of the fun.

I’m a growing puppy and I have not yet had a lot of experience with crates, kids or cats and I might bark if something alarms me, but I really love to learn and hoping for a family who will take me to a basic obedience class to continue to help me build confidence and dog skills. Ideally my forever home would need to be home during the day to help me with my potty training and not leave me for breaks longer than 3 - 4 hours. **Obedience classes are required when adopting this puppy from Underdog Rescue. Many of our puppies have a mama who was not properly socialized before coming to Underdog Rescue. Since coming to Underdog, this puppy has been in a socialized and loving home, but that needs to be continued with its Adopters.
